The Prophets now are going to draw from Gen. Exod. Lev. Num. Deut. and how Isreal typically live ccording to the Law Joshua through to 2Chron.36. and Ezra and Nehemiah

Acts.1:8;

Note: Deuteronomy
There was provision for the
stranger continues in "One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you." This consistent with God's intent from the beginning of the World. (Eph.2:11-22; 3:1-12)

Note: In Leviticus
there was provision for the
stranger continues in "One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you." This consistent with God's intent from the beginning of the World. (Eph.2:11-22; 3:1-12, Exod.12:43-51)

Note:In Numbers
there was provision for the stranger continues in "One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you." This consistent with God's intent from the beginning of the World. (Eph.2:11-22; 3:1-12, Exod.12:43-51)

Axe laid to
the (Olive) tree
. (Matt.3:1-12) God is able to raise up these stones to become children of Abraham (v.9)

Samuel is important to us TODAY Because Peter says, "all the prophets from Samuel have like wise foretold of these days"
(Acts.3:18-24,
1Peter.1:10-12, Rom.16:25-26)

NOTE: These first five books set the boarders for Israel's journey before the Lord. How they would live according to these patterns. (Joshua - Nehemiah / Esther)  The Prophets

prophesied to us using these patterns which points to Christ | "good things to come".  How can they use this language without the context of these Books. It is no wonder that Peter wrote, "they spoke unto us" (1Peter.1:10-12, Eph.3:1-12,  Rom.3:21-31; 16:25-26, Acts.28:20-23 / Matt.5:17-19, John.1:17)

GOAL / PURPOSE / INTENT

Dust Seed

Note: In Exodus
There was provision for the
stranger continues in "One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you." This consistent with God's intent from the beginning of the World. (Eph.2:11-22; 3:1-12)

Wild Olive Tree

Note: The theme of
"One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto
the stranger that sojourneth among you." from Exodus to Ruth. Then a Moabite (Ruth) being married to Boaz. (Exod.12:43-51, Eph.2:11-22; 3:1-12)

You can can see why this Book is included in the cannon of scripture

Rom.9, 10 & 11

Note: In Judges
There was not much difference between the people of God and the people of the Land they were suppose to posses, because they were serving Baal, Philistines half the half the and then serving God. Why would the
Stranger want to be part of their "Church in the Widerness" (Acts.7:38, 1Cor.10:1-11
  Rom.15:4)

#5

Note: Joshua
There was provision for the
stranger continues in "One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you." This consistent with God's intent from the beginning of the World. (Eph.2:11-22; 3:1-12)

When God's patterns are ignored / neglected the power of God is absent. Notice even though things are in a depressing state, Samuel was established as God's Prophet

NOTE:The scriptures that are colored in Blue
show how the Old Testament points to the New Testament  that Jesus has confirmed. (John.1:11, Gal.3:15-16, Matt.5:17-19,Rom.3:21-31)

NOTE: Ruth (a stranger)
was in the genealogy of
Christ (Matt.1:1-17)
"according to the flesh"
to the humanity of Christ
(Phil.2:5-11, John.1:1-14

Rom.9:1-8)

God has not, forget His purpose. to redeem the Jew and the Gentile in Christ to be the Bride

Moses said a prophet like
unto me Him (JESUS) shall
you hear
. JESUS said I have
not come to destroy the Tabernacle pattern, I have come to fulfill. The Holy Spirit lead the apostles into all truth of the Tabernacle the it is a pattern of heaven itself. (Acts.3:22 / Deut.18:15, John.16:12-15, Heb.8:1-5; 9:1-28)

When God inspired (2Tim.3:16-17) and preserved (Matt.5:17-19) the Book of Numbers it was to
bring the Jew and Gentile together to Christ, who would reconcile them by the Cross making
one new man.The New Testamentsays, "whatsoever things were written aforetime [in the Book

E.  The Book of Deuteronomy
(The Law given to Moses that expands the
"matter" even further
Prov.18:13)

Deuteronomy is review of the Law that was was given at Sinai for the younger generation to prepare them
for right living in the Land promised to Abraham
(Num.13:1-33; 14:1-45, NOTE:v.26-34, [Review: #2] Heb.3:1-19;
            4:1-16
NOTE: God has not forgotten His purpose "from the beginning of the world." (Eph.3:1-12) All the Laws (of
           the schoolmaster
Gal.3:24) were reviewed in the Book of Exodus and strenghtened in order to bring the Jew and
the Gentile to Christ, who would reconcile
[0] them unto God by the Cross. (Matt.5:17-19, Acts.3:22 / Deut.18:15,
            Rom.3:21-31, Eph.2:11-19; 3:1-12, 1Peter.1:18-20, Gal.3:24, Rom.3:21-31; 7:7-14, Matt.5:17-19, Rom.8:1-4)

           1.  Abraham understood that there was "a Land"
(Gen.12:1, John.8:56 / Gal.3:1-29, Heb.11:8-10;
                       12:18-22 / Rev.21:1-9-10)

           2.  Then the seed (offspring of Abraham) was told there is a "place" in the Land where God will
                record His
name
(Deut.12:1-12, Rom.9:1-33, Eph.2:1-22; 3:1-12)
           3.  The king David understood this place, in the Land, to be Solomon's Temple,
the end of
                Israel's journey
from Egypt to Solomon's Temple. There was nothing greater. After
Solomon's Temple there was many  destructions and restorations that attempted to bring
it back to it's former glory, but to no avail.
(1Chron.17:1-5; 28:19, 2Chron.5-6, Ezra, Nehemiah)

NOTE: These five beginning Books (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy) lay
the foundation for what God was to bring Israel into, after their deliverence from Egypt and
                their everyday.
(Deut.6:1-25)  This  is the "language" used by the Prophets to speak to us.
                  (Acts.3:16-24, 1Peter.1:10-12)

   F. The book of Joshua (The book of expands the "matter" even further Prov.18:13, 1Cor.10:1-11)

NOTE: From Genesis to Joshua, God has not forgotten His purpose (Eph.3:1-12) "from the beginning of
           the world." (
i.e. to make in himself (Christ) of twain (two) one new man, so making peace; And that he might
reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: so making ONE NEW
           MAN
[0]  (Eph.2:11-19; 3:1-12, 1Peter.1:18-20, Gal.3:24, Rom.3:21-31; 7:7-14, Matt.5:17-19, Rom.8:1-4)

           1.  The Book of Joshua records how "the church in the wilderness" possessed the land and lived their
everyday living according to the Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy
(Josh.1-24 /
                  Acts.7:47-48,
Eph.1-6, Heb.3:1-19, 1Cor.10:1-11, Rom.15:4, Phil.3:15)
Review: PHASE 2 which shows how the
1st Cent. Church followed this same pattern.

           2.  This is the "Land" that God promised (covenanted with) Abraham, Isaac and Jacob / Israel
(Gen.12:1-2,
                  Gal.3:1-29, Heb.4:1-11; 12:18-22
)
           3.  They
came into the Landknowing that there was "a place"[NOTE: They did not know that Solomon's
Temple would be built on that "place", in the Land. It was revealed later
when David became king.
[0]

1Chron.17:1-15; 22:19] (Josh.1-5, Deut.12:1-12,Phil.3:1-16, Eph.3:1-5; 4:11-16; 5:21-31)
           4.  They conquered Jericho
(Josh.6:1-27, Rom.8:28-39)
           5.  Battles
(Josh.7-8; 10; 11:-12, Eph.6:12)
           6.  The Land was divided up and the Cities of Refuge
(Josh.13-22)
           7.  This is where the Tabernacle of Moses remained in one place, Shiloh.
                a.  Up to this point the Tabernacle of Moses had been traveling and finally stop in
                     the Land, at Shiloh
(Num.9:15-23; 10:1-13, Josh.18:3, Acts.2 / Gal.4:21-31,
                       Heb.3:7-19; 4:1-11; 12:18-22)

b.NOTE: The Tabernacle of Moses was the "Present truth"
[0](2Pet.1:12) for Church
in the wilderness from Sinai until Shiloh. REVIEW: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus,
                     Numbers and Deuteronomy
(Josh.18:3)

       8.  They served God "all the days of Joshua and all the days that outlived Joshua."
                  (Josh.1-12. Judges.1-2; 21:24, 1Cor.10:1-11, Rom.6:1-14; 15:4, 2Tim.3:16-17)

     G. The Book of Judges
(The book of Judges expands the "matter" even further Prov.18:13,
             1Cor.10:1-11; Rom.15:4, 2Tim.3:16)

This Book expands on how the children of Israel / church in the wilderness (Acts.7:37-38)
did NOT completely possess the Land
.
(Josh.18:1-3;-Judges.3:1-4)They were unfaithful
to God's purpose, but God remained faithful to His Covenant.
(Heb.6:16-20, 2Tim.2:13,
            Gen.12:1-2; 15:1-22 / Exod.1-19, Num.10:1-23, Deut.12:1-12, Deut.6:1-23,
Heb.3:7; 4:1-11)
They
"served the Lord all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that outlived Joshua,
who had seen all the great works of the Lord, that he did for Israel."
(Judges.2:7) However,
"there arose another generation after them, which knew not the Lord, nor yet the works
which he had done for Israel. And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord, and
served Balaam: And they forsook the Lord God of their fathers, which brought them out

(Deut.6:10-23) of the land of Egypt, (Exod,12:1-51, 1Cor.5:7-8, 1Cor.10:1-11) and followed
other gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed themselves
unto them, and provoked the Lord to anger. And they forsook the Lord, and served Baal
           and Ashtaroth."
(Judges.2:6-10)

           1.  They had forgotten that the land was their's
(Gen.12:1-2) and there would be a place in
               the land.
(Deut,12:1-12) Gideon(one of the Judges) asked "the angel of the Lord...if the Lord be with us,
why  then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not
the Lord bring us up from Egypt? but now the Lord hath forsaken
us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites."
(Judges.6:13)

           2.  The enemy remained in the Landbecause Israel did not drive them outand they (the enemy) became

"as thorns" in their sides, and their gods were a snare unto them.
(Judges.2:3; 3:1-9; 3:12-31; 4:1-23; 6-7;
                 8:33-10:5; 10:12; 13-16; 17-21,
2Cor.12:7-9, Rom.11:9, 1Tim.3:7; 6:9, 2Tim.2:26
) NOTE: It wasn't until the reign
of David that they possesed all the land.
(1Chron.22:18-19, 2Chron.5:1-14, 1Kings.10:24)
                a.  Why didn't they drive the enemy out?
                     (1)  Because they failed to trust in God's covenant with them
(Judges.2:1-2) See PHASE 2, Page.2

                     (2)  They had the Tabernacle (with all it's furniture / See PHASE 4) because it "remained among

the children of Israel" (Josh.18:1-3/ 1 Sam.5:1) until Solomon's Temple was built. (2Chron.5:1-14,
                              Heb.8:1-5: 9:1-24; 10:1-25)

                     (3)  They had the testimony of the victorious History of the Ark of the Covenant
(Exod.25:8-22,
                              Josh.1:1-9; 2:1-24; 3:3; 6; 8; 14, 6:1-27,
1John.2:2, Rom.3:25, 1Cor.10:1-11, Rom.15:4)

                     (4)  There was still the testimony a High Priest functioning (though corrupted) with the Priesthood
                           (corrupted) and offerings. (corrupted)
(
1Sam.2:11-17; 3:3; 4:1-9, Josh.18:1-3, Heb.3:1, 1Peter.2:5,9)
                           (a)  We know that sacrifices were offered because the next book (Samuel) records people bringing the
                                 sacrifice unto the priesthood
(1Sam.1-4)
                    (2)  The summary of the Judges
NOTE: The phrase, "And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord" and God sold them
                           into captivity.
(Jud.3:7, 12; 4:1; 6:1: 8:34; 10:6; 13:1)

                          (a)  Othneil (Judges.3:5-9)
                          (b)  Ehud and Shamgar
(Judges.3:12-31)
                          (c)  Deborah and Barak
(Judges.4:1-23) Even after the great victory lead by Deborah, Israel still
"turned to Balaam and forsook the Lord."

                          (d)  Gideon
(Judges.6:6-7) He had to first cast down the altar of Baal at his home, i.e. "evil in the
                                 sight of the Lord."
(Judges.2:6-11, Rev.2:14, 2Peter.2:1-22, Jude.1:1-13, Rev.2:14)
                          (e)  Abimellech, Tola, Jair
(Judges.8:33 -10:5)
                          (f)   Jephtha, Ibzan. Elon, Abdon
(Judges.10-12)

The Book of Judges ends with no king in Israel: every man doing that with was right in his own eyes

                            (Judges.21:25)
which resulted in a corrupt Priesthood (Eli the high priest and his sons, the priesthood)
This continued into the next two Books (Ruth and 1Samuel) which records Saul becoming king
because the people wanted a king to judge them like all the nations that they were suppose to have
                          driven out.
(Judges.2:1-5; 3:1-4) It is no wonder that Saul never enquiring of the Ark, (1Sam.1Chron.13:3)
because this is where God said, "there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above
the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things
which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel."
(Exodus 25:22, 1Sam.10:1-6,
                            1Chron.13:3, Exod.25:10-22,
Rom.2:23-24, John.14:6)

  H. The Book of Ruth(The book of expands the"matter"even further Prov.18:13, 1Cor.10:1-11)

          (Ruth / Moabite / Stranger)

When reading the Book of Judges It would seem like God's purpose "from the beginning of the world"

(
Eph.3:1-12)was now failing because of Israel's unbelief. Quite the opposite! God ALWAYS remains faithful to
          His Covenant
[0] reguardless of what we do (Heb.6:16-20, 2Tim.2:13) The reason for their problem was the
did not drive out the inhabitants of the Land.
(Judges.2:1-10;3:1-4) God did not give up on His purpose
          (intent)
which was coming to "the place" (which we will discover is
Solomon's Temple) in the land. (Gen.12:1-2,
           15:.1-15, Deut.12:1-12,
Eph.2:11-19; 3:1-12, 1Peter.1:18-20, Gal.3:24, Rom.3:21-31; 7:7-14, Matt.5:17-19, Rom.8:1-4)

  1.  The Book of Ruth takes place "in the days when the Judges ruled"
(Ruth.1:1) with the
end result of "every man (of the children of the flesh of Abraham
Rom.9:1-8) doing that
which is right in his own eyes."
(Judges.21:25)
               a.   The Book of Ruth is an account of how a Gentile woman
(stranger / Moabite) became
one of the ancestors of Christ because of the Law of the "kinsman redeemer"
(Deut.25:7
                       -9,
Matt.1:1-17, v.5, Eph.2:1-22; 3:1-12)
NOTE: Eventually becoming His Bride. (Ruth.4:1-22)
               b.  Naomiis a picture of the children of the flesh of Abraham
[0]

                     (1)  Naomi was from Bethlehem Judah (house of bread) - (Judges.1:2; 7:17)
                     (2)  Because of famine they left Bethlehem-Judah (house of Bread) they went down
mixed in with the land of Moab
(Deut.23:3, 2Cor.14-18)country leaving the land that
                            they  were suppose to posses.
(Ruth.1:1, Rom.9:1-8, Ruth.1:1-1, Deut.6:1-25) and
                            mixed with this Moabites
(Deut.12:1-32; 28:1-68) Review the book of Judges
                               (1Cor.10:11, Rom.15:4, 1John.2:15-16)

    c.
Ruth a Moabite (The stranger / Heathen / nation / Gentile Ruth.1:4)
                     (1)  The Moabites came from Lots daughters. They were continually hostile to the things

                            of God (Gen.19:37, Deut.2:29; 23:3, Num.22:4, Judges.3:12-30, 2Kings.23:13, Ezra.9:1, Neh.13:23-24)
                              Rom.
8:5-8, Col.1:21)

          (2)  The Moabite was not allowed in the congregation of Israel.
(Deut.23:3, 2John.7-11)
                     (3)  Why then did God bless the marriage of Boaz and Ruth when he (Boaz) was not to fellowship with
                            the Moabites?
(Gen.19:37, Deut.23:3)

       (a)  Answer: God
was foreshadowing the Gentiles / strangers being grafted in (Rom.11:1-25)
according to His "intent" (purpose) before the beginning of the world."
(Eph.2:1-22; 3:1-12 /
                                      Prov.18:13)
(NOTE: Remember from the time Israel left Egypt, there was provision made for
the stranger that sojorned among them.
One law for the homeborn and the sojourner
                                   /
stranger / no respecter of genealogy.
[0] It is the Covenant that God respects (Exod.2:24-25;
                                     11:4-10, Acts.10:1-48; 15:1-8, Rom.2:28-28, Col.2:10-12,)

                            (b)  NOTE: God is not by passing His Law
(Lev.25:25, Deut.25:5-10, 25, Ruth.3:1-4; 4:1-22, Rom.3:21-31,
                                     Matt.5:17-19, Rom.8:1-4
) He is not contradicting Himself (His Law). Both Israel and the stranger
                                   had to keep the Law.

                            (c)  Similar to Peter not eating anything unclean (Lev.11:1-47, Acts.10:1-44) God cleansed them and
made them acceptable. He was not violating (not contradicting) His own law.
(Acts.15:1-8)

NOTE: Ruth is being accepted because of the law of the "kinsmen redeemer"
[0]

                            (d)  It was Naomi's heritage (geneology / nature / lineage) that provided the Law of the "kinsman
                                   redeemer"
[0] for Ruth to be included. (Ruth.2:1; 3:9; 4:6, Rom.9:1-33; 11:1-36)
                                   *  Kinsman - to be the next of kin (and as such to buy back a relative's property, marry his

 Strongs OT#1350 /                  widow, etc.
[0])  (Ruth.2:20 / Lev.25:25, Deut.25:5-10, Gal.3:24, Acts.28:20-23, Rom.3:21-31;
                                          16:25-26

                                   *  What is the Law of the "kindsmen redeemer?"
According to Old Testament law if an Israelite became so impoverished that he sold his
property, his closest relative was to buy it back, so that the land would remain within the
family. Such a person was called a redeemer.
(Lev 25:25, Ruth 2:20, Gal.3:24 / Matt.5:17-19,
                                          Rom.8:1-4)
[0]
If a married man died childless, his brother was obligated to marry his widow
and raise a son in the deceased brother’s name, so that the name would be carried on in
                                       Israel
(Deut 25:5-10; cf Gen 38:8-10). Being aware of these laws and their applications by the
scholars of that time, Naomi conceived of a plan (see
ch 3:1-4) that might bring Ruth and Boaz
together by having Boaz serve as a redeemer both to purchase a field that Naomi owned,
and to fulfill the obligation of
Deut 25:5 ff by marrying Ruth.[0](Ampified Bible / Footnote)
                            (d)  It was a Sovereign act
(Ruth.4:10-11, Rom.9:1-33)
                            (e)  Ruth had no right to be included. She was not of the Covenant lineage. She was "outside the
                                   Covenants of promise"
(Gen.5:1-32; 11:10-32; 12:1-2, Eph.1-19 See Genealogy Chart) Look at the
                                   pattern.
                                *  Cain
was the firstborn but God Covenanted through Abel
(Gen.4:1-4; 5:1).
                                *  Ishmael
the firstborn but the Covenant continued through Isaac
(Gen.15:1-6; 16:1-16; 21:1-12,
                                           Gal.4:21-33)

                                *  Esau
was the firstborn but the Covenant continued
                                       through Jacob
(Gen.25:19-34, Rom.9:1-33)
                                   *  Israel (the children of the flesh of Abraham
(Rom.9:1-8) were God's firstborn, but they "mocked"
                                          (Gen.21:1-12, Gal.4:21-33)
and "despised" (Gen.25:19-34, Rom.9:1-33) their birthright and God
gave their birthright to the Church / Isaac
(Exod.4:22, Deut.32:21, Hosea.1:10, Matt.21:33-46,
                                          Eph.2:1-22:3:1-12, Rom.9, 10:19 /  and 11, Gal.4:1-31, Heb.12:22)

NOTE: Why? That no flesh (nature - offspring /
genealogy / humanity that has been sold
into sin should glory in His Presence.
(Rom.5:10-12, 1Cor.1:18-29; 2:1-14)

                            (h)  Ruth
(a stranger) was without hope, without God, because she was a Moabite and was not
allowed in the congregation of Israel.
(Deut.23:3) Her Lineage geneaolgy offspring / nature / she
was part of the wild olive Tree. However there was provision made for the
stranger (The Moabite)
if they "sojourned" with the children of Israel and were circumcised
(Exod.12:48, Rom.2:28-29,
                                     Col.2:10-12, Eph.2:11-19)

                            (i)   Naomi (the Law of Moses) had provision for a "kinsmen redeemer" to bring in a
                                   stranger.
(Ruth.3:1-4) which is consistent with God's "intent" from the beginning of the World.

(Eph.2:1-22; 3:1-12) to bring us to Christ, the fulfillment of the Law. (Ruth.2:20 / Lev.25:25,
                                     Deut.25:5-10,
Gal.3:24, Acts.28:20-23, Rom.3:21-31; 16:25-26

               d.  Boaz (paid the price to redeem us 1Cor.6:19-20)

                     (1)  There was a "kinsmen" closer than Boaz under the Law (Ruth.3:12, Deut.25:7-9)
                            (a)  Boaz came unto His own (kinsmen) according to the flesh first
(Ruth.2:1; 3:1-18; 4:1-5,
                                     John.1:11, Rom.9:1-33)

                            (b)  Why? Because Boaz came to confirm the Law of the "kinsmen Redeemer"
[0]) by fulfilling all
                                   it's requirements.
(Matt.5:17-19, Rom.8:1-4)
                     (2)  However, this "kinsmen" (under the Law) rejected this confirmation because Ruth (the stranger)
was included with the land which was theirs for the taking. This "kinsmen" was ingnorant of the fact
that Law made provision for the "
strangers" to be included. (Gen.12:1-2; 15:1-5, Deut.12:1-12,
                              1Chron.17:1-15; 22:1-19,
Matt.12:42)
                            (
a)  The Land(Matt.13:44, Heb.4:1-11 / See PHASE2 / PHASE7

                            (b)  The Jews (Judah / the children of the flesh of Abraham) were given the law (Exod.19, Deut.31:9-11,

Rom.9:1-33) but they were not interested in their birthright (that included the "stranger"

    Eph.2:1-22; 3:1-12)
                            (c)  The 'kinsmen" said, "I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar (corupt) mine own inheritance:
redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it.

                                   *  This atitude was evident during the 3 1/2 year ministry of Jesus the Messiah. (Gospels)
                                   *  This attitude was still evident in the Book of after the Cross.
(Acts.6:1, 9-15; 7:1-60; 19:1-10;
                                          10:1-44; 11:1-19; 13:44-52; Acts.15:1-32; 21:20-31; 23:12-35; 24:10-14, Rom.11:20)
They failed to
                                       enter into the "present truth"
(1Peter.2:12) of the Tabernacle of David.Review: PHASE2, Page.

   *  The failed through unbelief to excercise their priviledge under the Law. Instead they gave up
                                       (
dispised / mocked) the right / birthright to be the Bride, but the Ruth / stranger / Foolish
Nation /  which were not a people were welcomed in.
(Ruth.3:1-18; 4:1-22)
                                   *  They were rejected what was in the Land (i.e. Tabernacle of David / Jew and Gentile
                                       together
(Eph.2:11-19) They failed to remember God's original purpose FROM THE
                                       FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.
(Eph.2:1-22; 3:1-12, Rom.9:1-33; 10:1-21; 11:1-36)

                     (3)  Boaz was now free to make Ruth his bride

                           (a)   Boaz has redeem (paid for us
Ruth.5:7,1Cor.6:19, 1Peter.1:18-20) us from the penalty
of the Law with the ultimate purpose of being a Bride for Him.

                                   *  NOTE: Boaz went to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Ruth.3:1-18; 4:1-13, Rom.1:17)

                     (4)  Ruth preserved the geneaolgy (offspring / seed) "as concerning the flesh (the son of Man / became
fashioned as a man) Christ came"
(Matt.1:1-17, v.5, Rom.9:1-5, Phil.2:)

geanology) should glory in His presence

     2.  A SUMMARY OF THE BOOK OF RUTH
           a.  Famine drove the children of the flesh of Abraham (Naomi and family) out the the Land promised to
Abraham, to the Land of Moab. By the time Messiah had come they had added and diminsh. (Prov.30:5)
the Law of Moses with the traditions. (Torah, Talmud, Gerah, Mishna, Mischac) make the commandment of
                "None effect." (Matt.15:6)
           b.  This caused Naomi to become bitter (Israel became bitter)
Ruth.1:1-12 By the time that Jesus (Messiah)

came they were and still exalting their writings (Torah, Talmud, Gerama, Mishna, Mishrash as the Word of
                God) as inspired of God
mixed with the Law of Moses to be the Word of God.

NOTE: When Jesus came He came to confirm God's orignal "intent", which is "to make in himself of twain
(two) one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross,
                having slain the enmity thereby:
(Rom.9, 10, 11, Eph.2:1-22; 3:1-12, Matt.5:17-19)

           c.  Ruth (a Moabite / stranger) being included in the Covenants of promise was the preservation of
Naom (NOTE: Ruth came with the Land ( pearl of great price in the Land (matt)
Given the heathen as your inheritance
           d.  Ruth was not only included she became the Bride of Boaz "kinsmen redeemer"

I.  The Books of I and II Samuel(This Samule expands the "matter" even further
Prov.18:13, 1Cor.10:111)

The Church in the wilderness had come out of Egypt, through the Red Sea to Mt. Sinai
(Gen.- Exod.) Then they
          left Sinai and traveled
(Num.- Deut.) to towards the Land promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They came into
the Land under Joshua's leadership and were to possess this Land.
(Josh.) Some did and others did not. Then
they became entangled with the "ites" in the Land and did evil in the sight of the Land.
(Judges-Ruth) This was a
time of in and out of bondage and people doing that which is right in their own eyes. This brings our study to a
          corrupt high priest and priesthood.
(1Sam.1-4)

        A.  Continued from  the Book of Judges and Ruth
NOTE: The Church in the wilderness has come into THE LAND
however, not to the PLACE
were God's name would be recorded.
(Gen.12:1-2; 15:1-15, Deut.12:1-12, Acts.7:38, 1Cor.10:1-11)

             1.  There was still "no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes"

       (Judges.21:25, Prov. 14:12)
              2.  The
Tabernacle was still at Gibeon but "the lamp was going out" (1Sam.3:2-3)
                   a.  This is what happens when we do "that which was right in his own eyes" and neglect
                        God's pattern / purpose.
(Prov.14:12, 1Sam.3:3, 2Tim.3:5)
                   b.  This was the failure of Eli the high priest
                        (1)   Eli failed as high priest
(Exod.30:8, Josh.18:1-4, 1Sam.2:27-36)

                        (2)   Eli failed as a father. The sons of Eli (The Prieshood) caused the people to
                              "abhor
[0] blashphemed [0] ) the offering of the Lord" and did "lay with the woman[0]
that assembled at the door of the Tabernacle"
(1Sam.2:11-17, 22-27)

              3.  During this time the prophet Samuel was born and grew up ministered unto the Lord, in the
Tabernacle, under the council of Eli.
(1Sam.2:1-36, NOTE:v.11, 26)
              4.  "Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground. And all
Israel from Dan even to Beersheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the Lord.
And the Lord appeared again in Shiloh:
for the Lord revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word
                   of the Lord.
((Josh.18:1-2 Tabernacle / Shiloh)1 Sam.3:19-21)

             5.  The Philistines continued to come against Israel (the Church in the Wilderness (1Sam.4:1-3, Eph.6:12-19)
              6.  The elders decided to take the
Ark of Covenant out of the Tabernacle and take it into into battle with
the Philistine assuming this would give them the victory
((Exod.25:8-22, 1Sam.4:1-11, Num.10:33-36
                    (Num.14:1-45),  Josh.3:17; 4:1-18; 6:1-26)

7.  The failed and the Ark of the Covenant now taken captive by the Phistines(1Sam.4:10-22; 5:1-12; 6:1-12)
                   a.  The Philistines placed the Ark in their Temple of dagon. (1Sam.5:1-12)
                   b.  The Ark remained in the country of the Philistines for seven months and
(1Sam.5:1-12; 6:1-18)

For this cause (I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, If ye have heard of the
dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: How that by revelation he made
known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may
understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made know
                     unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ
by the gospel: Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me
by the effectual working of his power...And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery,
which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the
church (Jew and Gentile reconciled together in Christ
Eph.2:11-22) the manifold wisdom of God,
According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

                b.  They had been looked for the Messiahfor hundreds of years(Rom.10:19-21)

rejected Him and they are still looking
for Messiah unto this present day

(Matt.13:10-17, Rom.11:25 / 2Cor.3:1-18)
                            (b)
The commandment of God was of "none effect" because they added to and dimish from God's
Word, and the care (philosophies / traditions) of of this world has "choked" out God's purpose.

stone upon another; because thou (you) knewest not (did notknow)

                            (d)  Remember Moses did not go into the Land (Note: Paul -
1Cor.9:27 I should be a cast away)
                     (5)  Now they (Paul's kinsmen according to the flesh
Rom.9:1-2) are---
                            (a)  "Broken off" from the "good olive tree" (The Covenant that Jesus, The Word made flesh) came
                                   to
confirm. (John.1:11, Rom.15:8, Gal.3:17)
                            (b)  Blinded
(Matt.13:10-17, Rom.11:25)
                     (6)  Nevertheless the Vail will be lifted off the Old Testament scriptures when they (Paul's kinsmen
                            according to the flesh
Rom.9:1-2) turn to Christ(2Cor.3:1-18, Acts.28:20-23, Rom.3:21-32; 9:27)

          2.  For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen
                a.  Compare Paul with Moses
                b.  My kinsmen / Israelites

                     (1)  Circumcised the eighth day (Gen.17:9-14; 21:1-..............................)
                     (2)  Of the
stock / Kin / Nation [3] of Israel (Gen.49.....................)
                           (a)  Of the tribe of Benjamin
(Gen.49:......................................)
                           (b)  An Hebrew of the Hebrews
(Phil.3:.......................................)
                     (3)  As touching the law, a
Pharisee (....................................................)
                     (6)  Concerning zeal, persecuting the church (Acts.9................................)
                     (7)  Touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. (This would be according to Jewish
traditions, because no one is blameless under the Law, only Jesus
Rom.3:22; 8:1-4)

But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all
things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered
the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, (dead works / flesh) that I may win Christ.
                            (Phil.3:4-8) Note:.vs, 9-15
. Note: How Paul was in constant conflict with "concision"[4] because they
were saying that he was teaching not to keep the Law.
(Acts. , Gal.1-6,

          3.  My kinsmen (Israelites) according to the flesh.[](Rom.9:3-5)See point #11
Paul had a "great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart."
(Rom.9:1-2)

                a.  Because "not all Israel...are of Israel"
(Rom.9:6)

             (1)  After the Cross the natural / fleshly genealogy is "dung" (Phil.3:1-8)
"...neither, because they are the seed of Abraham (i.e. the natural / children
                           of the flesh of Abraham,
are they all children: (of GodMatt.23:15, John.8:44,
                             Rom.3:20-23; 5:10-12, Eph.2:1-19)
                     (2)  Under the Old Covenant / Testament the Law (carnal ordinances Heb.9:1-10)
                           were "imposed"
(Heb.9:1-10) upon Israelites (the natural / children of the flesh
of Abraham) to bring them to the Cross.
(Gal.3:24, Rom.3:20-31)
                     (3)  When Christ came the Israelites Paul's kinsmen according to the flesh

                             Rom.9:1-3
) ignored and rejected Him and continued with their corrupted and polluted
                           version's of the Law
  (i.e. The
Torah, Talmud, Mishrash, Mishnan) that God gave Moses
                     (4)  God had foreseen this coming and prophesied about it using
                           (a)  Cain / Firstborn
(Rom.9:9-26, 1John.3:12-13, Jude.1:11)
                           (b)  Ishmael, / Firstborn / Mocked Isaac (Church)
(Rom.9:9-26, Gal.4:21-31)

                           (c)  Esau / Firstborn / Despised his birthright
(Rom.9:9-26)

Note: Each were cut off as the Israelites (God's firstborn Exod.4:22) were broken off
the "good live tree" because their unbelief in CHRIST as the MESSIAH
(Rom.11:

                b.  The Israel of God is "in Isaac (Church Gal.4:29) shall thy seed be called." (Note:
Gen.21:1-13,

                      Rom.9:3-5, Gal.4:21-31
)

   (1) That is...
the children of the promise (Isaac) are counted for the seed." (Rom.9:7-8)
                     (2)  Isaac the ONLY begotten son / firstborn
                     (3)  We brethren are as Isaac was. Firstborn / Church of the firstborn
(Heb.12:22)
                     (4)  You (the Church) are now the chosen people. (Note:
Rom.9:25 / Hosea.2:23, 1Peter.2:5-9)
                     (5)  The Church is the Jew and Gentile (every other Nation that is not Jewish) reconciled in Christ to
God. "Nowtherefore (under the New Covenant / Testament in Christ
- Matt.5:17-19) ye (you Jew
and Gentiles) areno more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of
the household of God;  And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus
                           Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth
                           (grows) unto
an holy temple in the Lord:  In whom ye also are builded (built) together for an
habitation of God through the Spirit.
(Eph.2:11-19)

                c.  After the Cross the ONE NEW MAN
(Eph.2:11-19) that includes Jew and Gentile in Christ is the Israel
                     of God
(Gal.6:15-16)This has been Gods Purpose "from the beginning of the world" (Eph.3:9,

Duet.18:15,  Acts.3:22, John.1:1-14, John.16:10-15, Acts.1:1-8; 2:1, 1Cor.2:1-14, Heb.5:11-14; 6:1-3 /
                       Eph.5:21-32)

                d.  The "seed"(Israelites) began when sin entered the world
(Gen.3:1-4, Rom.5:10-12) with God's promise
                      that
the woman's (offspring) seed crush the serpents head (Gen.3:15-16, Rom.16:20)
                      (1)  Remember: God's "intent" (purpose) from the "beginning of the world" that the Gentiles (every
other Nation that is not Jewish) "should be fellow heirs...of the same body, and partakers This was BEFORE there were a Jew or a Gentile.
                      (2)  Note: How the "seed" of the woman" referred to as "his"
(Gen.3:15)

                        (3)  From this point on Satan has tried to destroy that geneaology

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
                     (1)  It shows that God has kept His Covenant that "he"
[0] JESUS / MESSIAH
                           (the woman's seed)
(Gen.3:15-16)
                     (2)  It shows that Jesus was a man (son of man / humbled Himself as a man
/ The God-man - perfect man / the ONE MAN
(Rom.5:10-21) that will
take us in Him back to into God's presence as Adam and Eve.

Note the word "he" (Gen.3:15)

                     (3)  The genealogy (according to the flesh) stopped after Mary and Joseph

                            (a)  The Old Covenant genealogies (Matt.1:1-17) reveal the Humanity of the man Christ
                                     (Rom.9:5, Phil.2:5-10)

(b)  Now the birth of Jesus was on this wise:(Matt.1:18-25)
                            (c)  He was virgin born yet being fashioned as a man. He is the "seed" of the Woman
(Gen.3:15-16)
that would crush the serpents head (The God / Man)
(Matt.20-25, Phil.2:5-10, Col.2:)
                            (d)  This is the
                            (e)  He was the sinless man because Joseph was NOT THE FATHER OF JESUS.
(Matt.9:25)It was the
Jews that referred to Joseph as the father of Jesus  Remember: sin and death was passed on to
                                  all men
                            (f)  Jesus came to confirm the covenant
(Gal.3:13-17)
                            (g)  Redeemed us
/ Jew and Gentile (1Peter.1:18-20, Eph.2:11-19)

  (4) NOW after the Cross
                            (a)  We MUST be crucified with Christ (Natural geneology ends)
Gal.2:20
                            (b)  We MUST be buried with Christ
(Rom.6:1-11)
                            (c)  We MUST be resurrected with Christ
(Rom.6:1-11)

Paul's "kinsmen according to the flesh" (Israelites / Jews) rejected this confirmation and
                            were
"broken off" from the Olive tree / Covenants of promise (Rom.11:1-25) They made the
mistake that it is all about them "in the flesh" (i.e. because they are Jewish) No. The purpose
of the genealogies is to reveal the humanity of Christ / Messiah. Once Christ / Messiah had
come they (the children of the flesh of Abraham were to be reconciled in Christ with the Gentiles
                            and become ONE NEW MAN.
(Eph.2:1-22)

            4. Who are Israelites to whom pertaineth (pertains) theadoption(Rom.9:4)
                a.  Adoption (the placing as a son, i.e. adoption (figuratively, Christian sonship in respect to God):—
adoption (of children, of sons). (Strong's NT#5206)
                b.  Paul says, "Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth (differs) nothing from a
                   servant
, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until
(Heb.9:1-10) the time
                   appointed
(1Peter.1:18-20)of the father. Even so we, when we were children, (under the Law of
                     Moses) were in bondage
[2](Gal.4:25) under the elements of the world... (Gal.4:1-7)
                     (1)  The heir
                           (a)  The children of the flesh of Abraham (
Rom.5:1-12; 9:1-8)
                           (b)  The inheritance (a land) began with Abraham
(Gen.12:1-2; 15:1-

                     (2)  But when the fullness of the time was come,
                            (a)  God sent forth his Son,
                            (b)  Made of a woman,
                            (c)   Made under the law
(Gal.4:1-7)
                     (2)  To redeem them that were under the law,
                            (a)  That we might receive the adoption of sons.
                            (b)  And because ye (you) are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts,
                                   crying, Abba, Father
(Gal.4:1-7)
                     (3)  You Galatians are no more a servant, ( a heir under tutors and governors / The Law
Gal.4:) but a son;
(adoption) and if a son, (adoption)
then an heir of God through Christ
(Gal.4:1-7)
                            (a)  together with the Gentiles in Christ
(Eph.1:5; 2:11-19)
                            (b)  Note: The promise of adoption is also given to the Church.
Ephesians 1:5 "Having predestinated
                                  us (
Eph.1:1 Saints) unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good
pleasure of his will." (Strong's NT#5206)
                            (c)  God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your (the Roman Christians
Rom.1:1-7) hearts,
                                  crying, Abba,
[00] Father (Gal.4:1-7, Rom.8:15)

           5.  To whom pertaineth (pertains) the glory ("adantage - committed the "oracles of God" Rom.4:1-3)
                a.  From Glory of the Old Covenant to the Glory of the New Covenant
2Cor.3:1-18)

                b. They were mean't to go on the the Glory of the ministration of the Spirit

            6.  To whom pertaineth (pertains) the covenants
                   a.  Jesus / New Covenant confirmed the covenants (Gal.3:16-17)
                 b.  ,

            7.  To whom pertaineth (pertains)And the giving of the law (Jesus came to fulfill / confirm)
                 a.  .
                 b.  .

            8.  To whom pertaineth (pertains) the service of God (
                 a.  Heb.9:1-18; 10:1-24
                 b.  The Tab. an shadow of things to come

            9.  To whom pertaineth (pertains)And the promises (Eph.2:11-19)

          10.  Whose are the fathers (1Cor.10:1-2)

          11.  Of whom as concerning the flesh Christ (His humanity / likeness of men Phil.2:) came who is over all,
                    God blessed for ever. Amen.

     B.  Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect.
           1.  For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

           2.  The Israel of God in the New Covenant is by promise

           3.  The natural (children of the flesh of Abraham) have a the Covenant that remains to be fulfilled by the
two witnesses / the Message will be the same as Jesus said, that He is the Messiah

           4.  Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children:
                a.  But, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
                b.  That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children
of the promise are counted for the seed.
                c.   For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son.
                       (1)  .
                       (2)  .
                       (3)
                 d.  And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;
                       (1)  For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of
God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)
                       (2)  It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.
                       (3)  As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

      C.  What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
            1.  For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion
on whom I will have compassion.
                 a.  .
                 b.  .
            2.  So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
                 a.  .
                 b.  .

         3.  For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might
shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. Therefore hath he
mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

                  a.  .
                  b.  .

      D.  Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
            1.   Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it,
Why hast thou made me thus?
            2.  Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and
                  another unto dishonour?
            3.  What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering
the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
            4.  And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore
prepared unto glory, Even us, (Church) whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
            5.  As he saith also in Osee, (Hosea) I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved,
                 which was not beloved.
            6.  And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall
they be called the children of the living God.
            7.  Esaias (isaiah) also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand
of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:

      E.  For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness:
            1.  Because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.
            2.  As Esaias (Isaiah) said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as
Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.

      F.   What shall we say then?
            1.  That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the
                  righteousness which is of faith.
            2.  But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
            3.  Wherefore? (Why) Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they
stumbled at that stumblingstone; (Jesus / Messiah) As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion (Zion) a
stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

II.  Romans chapter ten

Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

      A.  For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God,
            1.  but not according to knowledge.
            2.  For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness,
have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

      B.  For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
            1.  For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things
                 shall live by them.
            2.  But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise,
                 a.  Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or,
Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
                 b.  But what saith it?
                       (1)  The word is nigh thee,
                       (2)  Even in thy mouth,
                       (3)  and in thy heart:
                       (4)  that is, the word of faith,
                 c.  Which we preach;
                       (1)  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
                       (2)  and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
                       (3)  thou shalt be saved.
                 d.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto
salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

                 e.  For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all
that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
                      (1)  How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?
                      (2)  And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard?
                      (3)  And how shall they hear without a preacher?
                      (4)  And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that
preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

      C.  But they have not all obeyed the gospel.
           1.   For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
           2.   So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
           3.   But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto
                 the ends of the world.
           4.   But I say, Did not Israel know?
                 a.  First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation
                      I will anger you.
                 b.  But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto
them that asked not after me.
                 c.   But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying
                       people.

III. Roman Chapter eleven

I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the
      tribe of Benjamin. (Rom.11:1

      A.  God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how
he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying,
           1.  Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
                a.  God is sovereign
                b.  .
           2.  But what saith the answer of God unto him?
                a.  I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
                b.  Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
                     (1)  And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.
                     (2)  But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
           3.  What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for;
                a.  But the election hath obtained it,
                b.  And the rest were blinded. (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber,
eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. And David saith, Let
their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them: Let their
eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.

      B.  I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall?
           1.  God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
           2.  Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how
                much more their fulness?
                a.  .
                b.  .
                c.  .

II.  They (Both Jew and Gentile) have to be "grafted in"

     A.  Because both are in Sin (Rom.3:23, Eph.2:1-10)
     B.  Grafted in / Not of works / By Faith (Eph.2:1-10)
     C.  What advantage then hath the Jew? Much every way: Chiefly because that unto them were
           committed the oracles of God
          1.  Oracle - Utterance from God / Divine Revelation (Exod.
          2.  To whom pertaineth the adoption
          3.  The glory
          4.  The covenants
          5.  The giving of the law
          6.  The service of God
          7.  The promises;
          8.  Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning
the flesh Christ came, who is over all,
                God blessed for ever. Amen.

III.  Be grafted into their own olive tree? (birth, physical origin, priviledge)

"And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.
For if thou (you Gentiles) wert (were) cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert (was) grafted
contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be
grafted into their own olive tree? (Rom.11:20-25)

     A.  There own Olive tree?
           1.  This olive tree grew out of the "root of Jesse" (Rom.11)
           2.  Jesus is out off the "root of Jesse"
           3.  Jesus (the Son of David) was raised up to sit on the throne of David (Acts.2:)
           4.  This olive tree (their own olive tree)  was to bring them to Christ. It is not a separate covenant for the Jew
                and the Gentile. NOTE: Eph.2:11-19)
           5.  It should be noted that together in Christ they will be built a spiritual house (NOT A NATURAL HOUSE)

      B.  There are two Olive trees
            1.  Good Olive tree (cultivated [1] guided by Covenant / Lineage / Covenant)
            2.  The origin of this "good Olive Tree" (Covenant)
                 a.  It began with God's promise (covenant) to Adam and Eve, long before there was a House of Judah /
Jews / Paul's kinsmen after the flesh. (Gen.3:1-24)
                 b. Then to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob (Israel), Moses, David to Christ. (Matt.1:1-17, Note:v.18)

            3.  This is "the good olive tree" that Paul's kinsmen were broken off from
            4.  This was the covenant / good olive tree that Jesus came unto His own to confirm16-17  (John.1:11,
                  Gal.3:16-17)
                 a.  The covenant that God made with the Father's
                 b.  Grafted back - Adam and Eve could come back into the garden, but it mean't certain death
God made the rules (don't eat of the tree) They failed and God paid the price the the rules demanded
                 c.  You cannot be grafted back in relying on your "flesh" (which stinks) for ALL (this includes the Jew) have sinned
    A.  How much more shall these
           1.  These are the "natural" branches (Lineage because of Covenant)
                a.  Because of Covenant that God made with the "descendants" / lineage / nature
                b.  God is no respecter of persons (example: Acts.10 House of corneilius / Peter / Jews. This is not
respecter of different kinds of Gentiles. God does not respect ANY MAN'S PERSON. IT IS ONLY
COVENANT that gives us respect. (Note: Exod.4:25 God had respect unto them because of the
fathers) It is SIN to be a respecter of persons (Deut.10:17; 16:19, James.2:9)
                c.  Covenant explained. (Rom.9:1-8)

     A.   The Good Olive Tree was not intended to be exclusive tho the the House of Judah / Jews
            1.  .
            2.
            3.  .
     B.   The "good olive tree" was and is not exclusively the Jews. (It has been in God's plan since the
beginning of the World) The "stranger" was not excluded in the Old Covenant.

     C.   They had priviledge being in Covenant with God that "made promise to Abraham, because he could
swear by no greater, he sware by himself. (Heb.6:13-16, 2Tim.2:13)
          1.  When God sees the rainbow it reminds Him of the Covenant that He made with Noah (Gen.8) He is not
seeing  you or I / It is because of Covenant which He has sworn by Himself (Heb.6:
          2.  The Ark of the Covenant / mercy seat / God so loved the world that He made Covenant with Himself

      C.  For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
           1.  If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. I
thought they were all going to be saved

           2.  For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life
                from the dead?
                a.  .
                b.  .
     D.  For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
           1.  Jesus - Firstfruit (1Cor15:23)
           2.  Jesus - the "root" in Jesse.
           3.  And if some of the branches be broken off,
           4.  And thou, (you Gentiles) being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, (Rom.11:17) and with
them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree / the root of Jesse

                a.  Wert (was)  grafted in among them the branches (the Jews Eph.2:11-19) into the "good olive tree" (the
                     root of Jesse)
                     (1)  Isaiah prophesyied the "there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch
shall grow out of his roots. (Isa.11:1-3)
                     (2)  Isaiah prophesyied. "in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of
the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious. (Isaiah 11:9-11)
                     (3)
And again, Esaias (Isaiah) saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over
the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.

11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;

3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
b.Don't forget about Eph.2:11-19 The Jew needs to reconciled as well as the Gentile, we are all sold
                     into sin. Rom.5:10-21
                b.  .
                c.  .

      E.  Boast not against the branches. (the children of the flesh of Abraham Rom.9:1-8)
           1.  But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
                a.  The Nation off Israel / the children of the flesh of Abraham are the branches
                b.  The "root"
           2.  Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
           3.  Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
                a.  They rejected Jesus as His redeeming blood
                b.  Now there remains no other sacrifice for sin for the Jews
                c.  The very Law that they are putting their trust in "can never take away sin" (Heb.10:1-3)
                d.  For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. (Gentiles)

      F.  Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God:
           1.  On them (the Jews) which fell, severity;
           2.  But toward thee, (Gentiles) goodness, if thou continue in his goodness:
           3.  Otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

      G.  And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in:
           1.  For God is able to graft them in again.
           2.  For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature
(1Cor.1:19-29; 2:14) into a good olive tree: (The Olive tree is the Covenants of Promise)
           3.  How much more shall these, (Jews) which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
                a.  Remember they are dead in sin if they reject Christ
                     (1)  .
                     (2)  .
                     (3)  .
                b.  The natural branches
                     (1)  Natural / the flesh of Abraham
                     (2)  No flesh to glory in God's presence / no good thing in my flesh
                c. Their own olive tree
                     (1)  It is not their olive tree
                     (2)  Eph.2:11-19 by the blood of Christ we are part of the commonwealth of Israel
                     (3)  We are circumcised (Rom.2:28-29, Col.2:10-12)

     H.  For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery,
           1.  lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, untilthe
               fulness
(the full number) of the Gentiles be come in.
                a.  .
                b.  .
                c.  .
           2.  And so all Israel shall be saved:
                a.  As it is written, There shall come out of Sion (Zion) the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness
                     from Jacob:
                     (1)  Zion (Sion) - The Church
(Rom.9:33) / Out of the Church...)
                     (2)  Israel - The Israel of God
(Gal.6:15-16 Rom.2:28-29; 9:7-9)
                     (3)  All that except Christ's Deity / Resurrection / Him being the head of the Church
                b.  New Covenant with the House of Judah and Israel (Heb.12)
                c.  For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are
enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.
                     (1)  Covenant Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Moses, David - The forefathers
                     (2)  For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance / Covenant (Note: Heb.6:16-20, 2Tim.2:13)
                     (3)  For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
The Jew and Gentile together has been the plan before the foundation of the World
                     (4)  Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
                     (5)  For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. O the depth of the
riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways
                            past finding out!

     I.  For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
         1.  Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
         2.  For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
