Prophets foretold of these days
(Acts.3:18-24, Rom.16:25-26, 1Peter.1:18-20)
The GAP
There are two things happening during this "gap". (1) God's dealings with Israel (the children of the flesh of Abraham). (2) The birth of the Church, it's decline to the dark ages and it's restoration to becoming the Bride of Christ
I. This GAP appears in God's Purpose
A. The two legs (4th kingdom / which many think is Rome) of Nebuchnezzar's image which stretch out
leaving a GAP until the end time / future / Latter days (Dan.2:28,33) (Review: PHASE 5, Page,1)
1. .
2. .
B. The Lion (Babylon), Bear (Media-Persia) Leopard (Greece), 4th kingdom (which follows Greece (GAP) /
"and shall devour" (future) the whole earth / from which comes 10 kingdoms (the 10 toes of
Nebuchaddezzar imagine) (Dan.7:1-28) Review: PHASE.5, Page.)
c. The Ram (Media-Persia) and the he goat with notable horn, the first king in (Greece) (Dan.8:1-25)
This first king was broken, four stood up in his place "and in the latter time of their kingdom" (which is
Greece. THIS IS HISTORY TO US) but future to Daniel. (Review: PHASE 5, Page) This is the context /
time-frame for "a king of fierce countenance...shall stand up" (Dan.8:22-25; 11:21-31 "vile person") This
was to take place during the silent years between the Old and New Testaments before the Cross. The
gap is after the Cross.
d. Note: The cleansing of the sanctuary is a separate vision to the Ram and he goat vision. This is "the
vision of the evening and morning" that Daniel did not understanding. (Dan.8:14, 26-27) We know this
because Gabriel made Daniel to understand the Ram and he goat. (Dan.8:13-19) NOTE: "shut up the
vision; (i.e. the evening and the morning) for it shall be for many days" (Dan.8:14, 26)
e. Daniel's 70 Week Prophecy. (Dan.9:24-27)
(1) The Purpose was to be fulfill within this 70 week (490 year) period (Dan.9:24)
(2) There would be 7 weeks 49 years) to restore and to build Jerusalem (Media-Persia / The Books of Ezra
and Nehemiah / Haggai / Zachariah / Malachi) Dan.9:25
(3) Then there would be a waiting time of 62 weeks (434 years) until the revealing of the Messiah
(4) And after threescore and two (62) weeks Messiah shall be cut off (Crucified) (Dan.9:26)
(a) JESUS (MESSIAH) came unto His own (The House of Judah / Jews) to "confirm" the covenant that
God had made with them.
(b) They (His own) rejected CHRIST (THE MESSIAH) and established their own righteousness and were
broken off from the "good olive tree"(Lev.26:1-14-46, Rom.10:1-3; 11:1-25)
(c) This was an ABOMINATION TO GOD and He made their ABOMINATION DESOLATE which has
overspread (until (GAP) the consummation (the end). Dan.9:27
(d) Spiritual "blindness (Vail)[0] in part is (has) happened to Israel, until (GAP) the fulness (i.e. the full
number of the Gentiles be come in Rom.11:25, Eph.2:1-22; 3:1-12, 1Peter.1:18-20)
(e) This Vail "untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which Vail is done away in Christ."
(NOTE: The word "if" Rom.11:20-25) even unto this day,( the 1st. Cent. until our present day / GAP)
when Moses is read, the Vail is upon their heart. (2Cor.3:1-18)
f. Sealed book until......................GAP.........................opened Revelation
Nevertheless when (and "if" Rom.11:23) it (the children of the flesh" of Abraham / Israel as a
Nation) shall turn to the Lord, (Rom.11:20-25) the vail shall be taken away. (Rom.11:25, 2Cor.3:1-18)
(e) During this GAP This is where the full number of the Gentiles be come in (See PHASE.5,Page.7
for details)
(f)
The Prophets spoke of these days (5th and 6th days) Joel decline restoration of Chyrch
f. This GAP is also seen in Dan.11:1-35 and Dan.11;35-45
A. Look at Israel's Historyin Stephen's Sermon(Acts.6:8-15; 7:1-53)
1. Stephen begins with Abraham after the flood(Gen.6:1-22; 7:1-24; 9:1-32; 10:1-32; 11:1-32; 12:1-2, Acts.7:1-4)
2. NOTE: (Abram / Abrahamwas consider by the Jews (The House of Judah) to be their "father" / beginning
(Matt.1:1, John.8:33-52)
C. When God started with Abraham(Gen.12:1-2)
(1) He was not forgetting about is original purpose (1Peter.1:18-20, ) The Church that
would include Jew and Gentile together. (Eph.2:1-22; 3:1-12, Heb.11:8-10)
(2) (John.8:56-58)
\
(2) Come into the land "which shall shew thee" (This land, wherein ye no dwell (Gen.12:3-4, Acts.7:1-4)
c. He did not "set his foot on" but God promised it for a possession, and to his (Abraham's) seed
(Gen.15:1-22, Gal.3:1-29 /v.15-17; 4:21-31)
d.
B. This gap appears when the children of the flesh of Abraham (Rom.9:1-33; 10:1-21; 11:1-36) were "broken off"
(rather they broke themselves off) from the good olive tree after the Cross because they (as a Nation) rejected
Christ, THE MESSIAH. This was an ABOMINATION to God. However God promised to graffed them back into the
good olive if they abide still not in unbelief leaving a "gap"
C. Their abomination was desolated and this desolation has overspread....until the consummation (the end (GAP)
D. This let the Gentiles in (which was God's Purpose before the foundation of the World / Gentiles graffed in
until (GAP) that full number be brought in / Foolish nation / birthright given to the Church
II. In this GAP relates to the beginning of the Church, it's decline and it's restoration
A. In this GAP is where the Jew and Gentile are made one in Christ which has been God's purpose since the
foundation / beginning of the earth. (A foolish nation
B. This "GAP" was prophesied by Joel (Joel.1:1-20; 2:1-32; 3:1-21) and Interpreted by the apostle Peter /
Acts.2:17 / 3:18-24) Joel said, there would be a spiritual decline in the Church and then a restoration of the
Church, greater than before. (Haggai.2:1-9) leaving a GAP.
B. The decline and (GAP) restoration of the History of the Church
VX. Book sealed until (GAP) the end, book unsealed
The time of Daniel / The legs of the 4th kingdom began in the 1st Cent.AD and streches out .....
to the end. (GAP) Dan.7:1-28 has a (GAP) after v.23-28) in it matching the
legs of the image that Nebuchadnezzar. / Dan.11:1-34 has a (GAP) after v.35-21
b. This was before there was a "Abraham"/ Jew or Gentile.
(1) Interesting that Abraham was not even a Jew (Gen.11:)
(2) This is confirmed by Jesus who said, "l have come to build His Church. (Matt., Eph.5:) that would
include Jew and Gentile together in Christ AS ONE MAN
