Spiritual Senses(Seeing [Eyes], Ears [Hearing], Nose [Smell], Feel [touch], Taste [appetite]

Paul[0] wanted to tell the Hebrews about JESUS being called after the order of Melchisedek "Of whom we have
many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.  For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.  For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.  But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason
of
use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. (Heb.5:11-14)

I.   When you were "born again" (i.e. a new crearure / creation 2Cor.5:17) in Christ Jesus)

You became a "babe" (spiriritual baby)
[0]  with spiritual hearing,[0] seeing,[0] tasting,[0]
      touching (feeling)
[0] and smelling (discernment)[0] that will mature as you grow up into
Him. (Christ Jesus)scheduled to be a (spiritual) mature adult.
[0]

           is the Lord from heaven.
     C.   And as we have borne the image of the earthy, (with natural senses) we shall also bear
the image of the heavenly. (spiritual senses)

II.  These senses are not natural senses they are spiritual

The natural man (senses) receiveth (does not receive) the things of the Spirit of God: for
they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually
      discerned."
(1Cor.1:19-29; 2:1-14)

III.  The Example of Isaac's eyes were dim
[0](Gen.27:1-29)
"And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called
Esau his eldest son, and said unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Behold, here am I.  And he said, Behold
now, I am old, I know not the day of my death: Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy
bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison;  And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it
to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die.  And Rebekah heard when Isaac spake to Esau his
son." Gen.27:6-17) He Jacob came unto his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I; who art thou, my
son?  And Jacob said unto his father, I am Esau thy first born; I have done according as thou badest me: arise, I

[train][0] senses (the sense of spiritual hearing) to discern
                             both good and evil.
(Heb.5:11-14)  We "train" by reckoning ourselves dead indeed to sin. Rom.6:1-11
                      (2)  Later in
Heb.10:25 Paul challenged the Hebrews concerning "as you seethe day approaching"

"blind" (not seeing afar off / dim) after you have been born again / saved / justified,
IF we become faint / slothful / sleepy.  We can prevent this by stirring (waking)
[0] up our minds by way
                      of remembrance
(2Peter.1:12; 3:1-2, Psa.78:42, 1Thes.5:1-9, Prov.24:30-34 / Matt.13:22)Think about

REASONS FOR GOING BACK TO THE OLD TESTAMENT FOR OUR EXAMPLE (Matt.4:4, Rom.15:4, 2Tim.3:16-17, 1Cor.10:1-11)

What we see NATURALLY are pictures of what happening in our SPIRITUAL walk before the Lord.

NOTE

The waiting time in Noah's time for for building the Ark. The building (finishing of the Ark) PRECEEDED the destruction of the earth. NOTE: "As you see the day..."
The waiting was not just sitting around.
TO BE PRESENTED

JESUS said occupy till I come.

Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
(1Cor.15:46)

NOTE: Are your spiritual eyes dim, weary, blind, blemished. "when you go to the House of God" (Ecc;.5:1) "as you see the day approaching?"

This was because of how they saw. Their eyes were not dim. They did become weary in well doing

NOTE: The association. Dim, Dull, As you see, weary, Blind, Blemish, Forgotten.INSTEAD bear (suffer) long, be longsuffering, have (long) patience, be patient, patiently endure.

What are you seeing as you see the day approaching and
why are we not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together?
