This is why the study of Melchizedek(Melchisedec)

is crucial to what ahead for the last days Church.
Look at the connecting points
-------------------------------
The Hebrew Christians understood (or they should have known)to come up to Mt. Zion, and unto the city of the Living God, the heavenly Jerusalem / The Bride. (Heb.12:18-22) and not go back to Sinai and not to wander in the wilderness through unbelief in THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AS THE ONLY HIGH PRIEST who is after the order of Melchizedek.

(See context of the Book of Hebrews)

Why study Melchisedec (Melchizedek) Priesthood

The main reason is because David prophesied, "Thou (The Lord Jesus Christ) art a priest for ever after the order
[0]of Melchisedec." (Psa.110:4, Heb 5:6-7; 7:1-28) Therefore if we really want to know "Him," (Phil.3:10) then you will want to know what the "order of Melchizedek" is.

I.    Melchisedec (Melchizedek) is in God's Word
"All scripture (including the doctrine of Melchisedec) is given by
inspiration of God, and (the order of  Melchizedek is profitable for
doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of  God may be perfect,
(Eph.4:11-16, 1Cor.13:9-12)
       throughly furnished
[1] (fully equipped) unto all good works."
        (2Tim.3:16-17)
This doctrine (teaching) is needed for our maturity.
        (Heb.5:11-14)

   A.  Melchisedec (Melchizedek)is a "God breathed" word(2Tim.3:16-
             17)
When Israel heard God's Word at Mt. Sinai they were afraid and
"intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more."

              (Heb.12:19)
Moses  himself said, "I exceedingly fear and quake."
              (Heb.12:21)
We need to have an awesome reverence for "every
            Word
that proceedeth out of the mouth of God"
(Matt.4:4 /
              Deut.8:3, Psa.2:11, Eccl.5:1-5, Prov.30:5-6, Psa.5:7; Prov.9:10)

Note: Today there is no fear
[0] of God's Word. This is evident in the
new translations of our day. (Review: "Why I use the King James Bible,"
Phase 1

     B.  How can anyone say Melchisedec (Melchizedek) not relevant to days Christianity!
To say that it is not relevant, is to argue with God's Word, and say you know better than God. My answer
to this is, "Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made
foolish the wisdom of this world?"
(1Cor.1:20-21) To ignore Melchisedec is to ignore the spiritual building
             materials
(1Cor.3:10- 15, Matt.7:24-26) needed to be "perfect (Eph.4:11-16)[0] thoughly furnished."

II.   Jesus is after the order of Melchisedec(Melchizedek)
"Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of
        Melchisedec."
(Heb 6:20, Psa.110:4) If our life is built upon the Rock, (Matt.7:24-26 Christ Jesus) it will
include understanding why Jesus is after the order of Melchisedec, because this is who Jesus is. This is
        part of our foundation!
(1Cor.3:10-12) If we want to know Jesus, them we need to know about the order
        of Melchishedek.

III.  Melchisedec (Melchizedek) the Day of Atonement and End-Times, are all connected
Jesus was "called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. Of whom we have many things
        to say, and hard
[2] to be uttered, (difficult to explain because you) are dull of hearing. For when for the
time ye (you) ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of
the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that
useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them
that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and
        evil.
(Heb.5:10-14)

  A.  Note the key phrases

Melchisedec. Of whom we have many things to say." (Heb.5:10-11) Note: God's purpose
(intent, plan) did not finished with the 1st. century Church. (Review: God's Purpose and Plan,
Phase 2

Melchisedek (Heb.5:10-14) is in association with being of "full age" (maturity, perfection) (Eph.4:11-16,
1Cor.13:9-10) This is end times, the last day Church. (Review: The Conclusion) This "full age" (i.e. maturity              Eph.4:11-16, 1Cor.13:9-12) will happen in "the day" (Heb.10:25) of atonement, which is where the last day
             Church is heading for. (Review:
Phase 2 and 11)

   B.   The context of Hebrews is "the Day" of atonement
The reason being is because Hebrews is all about Jesus being the only one qualified to represent us
before God as Aaron the High Priest foreshadowed.
(Heb.2:17-18; 3:1; 4:14-16; 8:1-5; 6:20; 7:1-28;
               9:1-26; 10:1-10)

C.   The day of atonement is the centerpiece of the Feast of Tabernacles
"Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall
choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles:
and they shall not appear before the Lord empty:"
(Deut.16:16-17)

    1.  Passover(Unleavened Bread) was fulfilled at the Cross(Review: PHASE 8)
             2. Pentecost
(The Feast of Weeks) was fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost (Review: PHASE 9)
             3. Tabernacles
is yet to be fulfilled in the last day Church which includes the day of atonement
and Christ after the order of Melchisedec. (Review:
PHASE 11)

Note: The Chart below is a combination of
Phases 2, 4, 8, 9 and 11

IV.  Who was Melchisedec ? (Melchizedek)
After Abraham had rescued Lot from the four kings,
(Gen.14:1-16) he was meet by "Melchizedek king of
Salem" who "brought forth bread and wine" for "he was the priest of the most high God. And he blessed
him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:..And he (Abraham)
        gave him tithes of all."
(Gen.14:18-21)

       A.  He was king of Salem. (Heb.7:1)
This Melchisedec (Melchizedek) was king of "peace." The Bible speaks of only one person that is king
of peace, and that is the Lord Jesus Christ.
(Rom.5:1, 1Cor.1:3, Eph.2:14, Col.1:20) Salem means peaceful;
Salem, an early name of Jerusalem.
[3] This city was taken by David centuries later. (1Chron.11:1-9)

       B.  First being by interpretation King of righteousness. (Heb.7:2)
Righteousness is right standing before God.
(Rom.1:17, 2Cor.5:21) No man ever will ever be "King of
righteousness." Only the God / man
(2Tim.3:16)Christ Jesus.(Rom.5:12-21 / 1Cor.15:45, Rom.8:1-4)

         1. Man has no righteousness
Our (all of mankind / Heathen / nations) righteousnesses is as "filthy rags."
(Isa.64:6) The Word
of God says, "There is none righteous, no, not one."
(Rom 3:10-11; 5:10-14, 2Cor.5:21, (Isa.9:6,
                    Heb.7:1-28) )

2. Man try's to make himself righteous(like Adam and Eve with the fig leaves)
Israel tried to establish there own righteousness and was rejected by God.
(Rom.10:3) "For they
being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have
not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God."
(Rom.10:3-4)

                   (

3.  Without decent, "neither beginning of days nor end of life." (Heb.7:3)
Without "father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days,
                  nor end of life
; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually."

(Heb 7:3-4)

   4.  Without father, mother (Only JESUS came fit this description)
                    a.  In the beginning was the "Word"
(1John.5:7-8) and the "Word" was with God, and
the "Word" was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were
made by him; and without him was
not any thing made that was made.
(John.1:1-4,
                           Col.1:16-20, Heb.1:1-3; 11:1-3)

                   b.   The Word became flesh
(Matt.1:18-25) called "JESUS" (Emanuel - God with us)[0]

    5.  Neither beginning of days nor end of life (Heb.7:3)

The writer of Hebrews calls this "the power of an endless life." (Heb.7:16) No
Canaanite king (or any other king from Abraham's time period) qualifies. David
                   wrote
the "days of our years are threescore years and ten; (70) and if by reason
of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labor and sorrow; for it
is soon cut off, and we fly away."
(Psa.90:10-11) Peter wrote, For all flesh (including
a Cannanite king or any other king / or person) is as grass, and all the glory of man as
the flower of grass. The grass withereth, (wither's) and the flower thereof falleth (falls)
                   away."
(1Peter.1:24-25)
                   a.  The key words here "the power of an endless life" / "forever"
(Heb.7:3)
                   b.  Jesus (a High Priest forever after the order of Melchisedek
Psa.110:1-4, Heb.5:10-14; 6:1-20)is
the beginning and the end. "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord,
which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."
(Rev 1:8-9) No mancan say this!

        C
Made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually (Heb.7:3)

              "Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life;
but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually."
(Heb 7:3-4) Some think, "without
father or mother" means there is no genealogy for Melchisedec in the Book of Genesis. If the writer
of Hebrews was referring to a heathen Canaanite king, then why has he (i.e. the heathen Canaanite
king not continued to our present day?
Jesus is the only one that "continueth ever," and has
              a
unchangeable priesthood."

(Heb.7:24; 13:8)
              a.  Like unto the Son of God
(Review: Points IV. 1-4)
              b.  Who is able to save...to the uttermost that come unto God by him
                   (1)  "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given
among men, whereby we must be saved."
(Acts 4:12)
                   (2)  No one else could be with Aaron on the day of atonement ONLY AARON
(Lev.16:1-2, 17, Heb.9:8)
                   (3)  Another point is "by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed
upon all men, for that all have sinned."
(Rom.5:12)
                   (4)  A Priest
/ JESUS "after the order of Melchizedek Melchisedec") entered into Heaven itself "to
appear in the presence for us"
(Lev.16:1-34, Heb.9:24)
                   (5)  If Melchizedek (Melchisedec) were a Canaanite king (born in sin / unredeemed) "enter into
Heaven itself.  Why then does the
Strong’s OT#4442 define the word Melchizedel as -king of right;
Malki-Tsedek, an early king in Palestine:—Melchizedek.
This could be the answer by these
                          examples:-

                          (a)  Nathan the prophet begins speaking of Solomon, then (Nathan) reaches over to Jesus

                                   (1Chron.17:1-15)

(b)  Ezekiel begins talking to Cyrus then reaches back to Lucifer, Old serpent. (Eze.11:19-28)

D.  Melchisedek "brought forth bread and wine."
Melchizedek "king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.
And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth."

(Gen 14:18-20)
             a.  The "bread" and the "wine" (do show the Lord's death till He come")
                  "Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat;
this is my body. And he took the cup, (Wine) and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink
ye all of it. For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for  many for the remission of
                  sins."
(Matt 26:26-28, 1Cor.11:20-25)   Don't take it unworthily!  (1Cor.11:28-34)
             b.  Only the Priests could eat the bread
from the Table of shewbread(Lev.24:1-9, Num.1:47-51;
                    (1)  The "stranger that cometh (comes) nigh (near) shall be put to death" (Num.3:38-39)
                  (2)  "Stranger" (Gentile, Nations, Heathen, outside the covenants of promise
Eph.2:1-19)

      E.  Melchisedek was "the priest of the most high God." (Gen.14:18)
             a.  No man takes this honor unto himself (No Canaanite king) No man "taketh (or takes) this
honor unto himself, but he that is called of Godas was Aaron."
(Heb 5:4-5)
                  (1)  NOTE: The words "as was Aaron" (this was according to the pattern shewed (showed) to
thee (you) in the mount."(Heb.8:5) This was the Law that would bring us to Christ.
(Gal.3:24)
                        (a)  Jesus said,"Think not that I am come to destroy the Law (the shadow of Aaron the high
                              priest) I am come to...fulfill.
(Matt.5:17-17, Rom.3:21-31, Heb.9:1-10)
                        (b)  This fulfillment (of the Law) is in Christ who is after the order of Melchisedec.
                        (c)  The power of an endless life / Eternal / forever
(Heb..7:16-17)
                        (d)  There will never be another high priest (Heb.7:21-28)

                        (e)  Unchangeable (Heb.7:23-25)
                        (f)   The Hebrews were told if they "willfully" count the "blood of the covenant and unholy
thing THEN there "remaineth no more sacrifice for sin.
(Heb.10:26-31) NOTE: Paul
                               ddress to the Galatian Churches
(Gal.1:6-8; 2:21; 4:11)
                  (2)  There is one God, and one mediatorbetween God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
(1Tim. 2:5)
                   (3)  "Mediator" (High Priest)
                        (a)  TAKE NOTE: The antichrist (the man of sin / son of perdition) will sit in the

Temple of God, showing himself that he is God. (2Thes.2:4)

                        (b)  You "have heard that antichrist shall come / "that Wicked be revealed" in the future
                                 (1John.2:18-20, 2Thes.2:1-8, Rev.13:1-18)

                        (c)  Even NOW (
this very day as you are reading this Website) are there many antichrists
(BUT NOT THE ANTICHRIST) that have an "unction"
[0] from the spirit of antichrist that
wants to guide you into ALL LIES that look like the truth
(1John.4:1-4; 2:18-27)
                        (d)  By preaching anotherJesus (that is just "like"
Isa.14:14) (2Cor.11:4,) A counterfeit
                               "Melchisedec" with all the
counterfeit qualifications.
                        (e)  Anotherspirit (that is just "like"
Isa.14:14)(Matt.24:5,24, 2Cor.11:4, 1John.4:1-4)
                        (f)  Another gospel
[0] (that is just "like" Isa.14:14) (2Cor.11:4, Heb.4:1-11)
                        (g)  Showing himself that he is Godin the last day Church
(2Thes.2:1-4, 1John.2:18-20; 4:1-4)

             b. The High Priests came from the seed of Aaron.
(Heb.)
The Lord spake unto Moses, saying, "Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in
their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God."
(Lev
                   21:16-18, Num.3:1-51, Lev.21:10-24)
Note: Even the natural geneogoly eliminates a Canaanite  king

               (1)  There was no seed of Aaron until Levi.
(See chart above) Therefore Melchizedek cannot be
anything else than a pre-cross revealing of Christ
[0] JESUS. NOTE: Abraham "saw my day"
                           (John.8:56-59 /
Gen.12:1-2; 15:1-15; 17:)
                  (2)  Under the Law the High Priest could have no blemishes to be found.
(Lev.21:16-24)

          (3)  Why would God accept a heathen king or any man to be the high priest to representing the
                         people of
God  while making atonement for sin?  (Lev.16:1-34, Heb.9:7) The "stranger"[4]
comes nigh will be put to death. God says, "thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and they
                         shall wait
(1Cor.9:13) on their priest's office:[5] and the stranger[4] that cometh nigh shall be
                         put to death."
(Num 3:10-11, Num.1:47-54; 3:38)
             c.  ONCE, every year, Aaron (the high priest) was to make atonement for all of sin of Israel

(Lev.16:1-34, Heb.10:1-19)

            b.  Also in this chapter
(Lev.21:10-24) there is the pattern of marriage of the high priest
which is the same pattern that the apostle Paul wrote the Church.
(2Cor.11:1-4)

      (1)  The Levitical priesthood gives us the pattern / blueprint for the the Marriage of the
high priest that was bring us to Christ...
(Gal.3:24)
                  (2)  Who fulfills this pattern / blueprint (of the marriage of the High Priest) down to "every "jot
[0]
                        and title"
[0](Matt.5:17-19)to the (New Testament) glory" (2Cor.3:1-18) after the order of
                        Melchizedek.
(Heb.7:1-28)
                           (a)  Who has the "power of an endless life" / "continually" / "ever liveth"
(Heb.7:16-17)
                           (b)  A High Priest that lives forever. NO ONE will ever replace Him!
                           (c)  "But this man , after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever. sat down on the
                               right hand of God."
(Heb.10:12)

      7.  Abraham and Levi "gave him (Melchizedek) tithes of all."
Now "consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of
             the spoils
. (Gen.14:18-21) And verily (truly) they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the
priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law,
(Num.18:20-28) that
is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham: But he whose descent is not counted
from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises." (Heb 7:4-7)

          a. The action of tithing confirmed Melchizedek as the High Priest
The giving of tithes from Abraham and Levi confirms Jesus as High Priest, "after the order of
                 Melchisedec."
(Heb.7:3) The giving our tithes today, does the same. It reaffirms Christ as High Priest.

(Gen.14:18-21, Heb 7:4-7)

           b. The tithe belongs to the Lord.
It does not belong to any man, king, prince of any country.
(Lev.27:30) "All the tithe of the land,
whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord's: it is holy unto the Lord."

(Lev.27:30-31) Why would Abraham give the tenth to a heathen / Gentile man? or Canaanite king?)
            c. The Lord gave His tenth to the Levities.

The "tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the Lord, I have
given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall
                 have no inheritance.
(Num.18:24-32)

       d. Then the Levities gave a tenth of that tenth to Aaron, the High Priest.
Thus ye also shall offer an heave offering unto the Lord of all your tithes, which ye receive of the
children of Israel; and ye shall give thereof the Lord's heave offering to Aaron the priest.

         (Num.18:25-28)

Note: There nothing in God's inspired Word that says to give a tithe to anyone outside the family
of Levi. Another confirmation that Melchisedec is a pre-Cross revelation of Jesus Christ.

            e.  The apostle Paul
(Gal.1:11-12) wanted to tell the Hebrew's more about Melchisedec
but they could not handle it because they were "dull of hearing"
[0](Rev.2:7, 11, 17,  29; 3:6, 13,22) /                  and could not see. (Heb.5:11-14; 6:1-3)[36] This was crucial because without this is New
Testament "present truth" they would not attain perfection
(Phil.3:15) without it. (1Cor.13:
                  9-12, Eph.4:11-16; 5:21-32 Rom.8:28, Heb.7:11)

To be continued. (John.16:12-16, 1Cor.3:9-12)

....

NOTE: After the flood the whole world has been populated from Noah's sons. (Gen.9:1; 10:1-32) All they knew  up to this point was
recorded in Gen.1-9

NOTE: We must remember Word did not become JESUS until He became flesh and dwelt amongst us

(John.1:1-14)

even though He was foreordained (1Peter.1:18-20)
to become the Passover Lamb
This is how Melchisedec
can beis a pre-cross revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ

Jesus after the order of Melchisedec Is "moreexcellent" and "better" is because the Levitical Priesthood  could not take away sin.

Melchisedek BEFORE THE LAW
Abraham and Levi gave tithes (which was included in the Law) unto Melchisedek
They held to Abraham and Moses

Why would God go outside of His Word and except a High Priest that is of the World

away sin

TODAY there are many high priests that claim to be only the mediator between God and men. But there is ONLY ONE that has been called of God "as was Aaron"
THE LORD JESUS CHRIST"He was before all things"

The man of
sin. "...another Melchisedek
after the order
of Melchisedek

NOTE: These words
"abideth a priest continually" (Heb.7:3)
-------------
"But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.
------------
"Wherefore he is able
also to save them to the
uttermost that come
unto God by him, seeing
he ever liveth to make
intercession for them."
-----------------

"For such an high priest
became us, who is holy,
harmless, undefiled,
separate from sinners,
and made higher than
the heavens;
------------------
"and has a unchangeable priesthood."

This is why the study of Melchizedek (Melchisedec)
is crucial to what's ahead for the last days Church.
Look at the connecting points
-------------------------------
The Hebrew Christians understood (or they should have known) to come up to Mt. Zion (
Heb.12:18-22) and not go back to Sinai and not to wander in the wilderness through unbelief in THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AS THE ONLY HIGH PRIEST who is after the order of Melchizedek.
(See context of the
Book of Hebrews)

Never take away sin-                                                               Once for all

"From Glory"--------------------

These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. (1John.2:26-27)
