I.   Mind / Soul

We are spirit, soul and body.
(1Thes.5:23) "The Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, (body) and
breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; (spirit) and man became a living soul."
(Gen.2:7) NOTE: The mind,
will and emotion and the soul are the same.
(Heb.4:12)  When sin entered the world Adam and Eve's spirit
      died
(Gen.2:17; 5:5, 2Peter.3:9 / Psa.90:4) and now mankind is born "[spiritually] dead in trespasses and sins"
      (Eph.2:1-2, Rom.3:9-20; 5:10-14)
fulfilling "the desires of the flesh (Body) and of the mind (soul)
. Since Adam
and Eve ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God and are
"walk according to the course of this
      world,
(1John.2:16) according to the prince of the power of the air, the (antichrist) spirit that now worketh
(works) in the children of disobedience" NOW (Those of us that

AS A NEW CREATURE IN CHRIST our minds MUST be renewed
because our spirit was born again, our bodies
will be changed in the "twinkling of an eye", but our minds did not get saved. WE MUST cast "down
imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God,and bringing into
captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ."
(2Cor.10:4, Isa.26:3)

      A.  We must present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

           5.  The serpent is still saying “hath God said?” and corrupt our minds from being conformed to God’s
image. This is the battle ground. (wrestle
Eph.6:12) The serpent’s ultimate purpose is to have us to
                conform to his image.
(Rev.13:1-18, Dan.7:25) To wear out the saints.
           6.  This is why our mind needs to be transformed.
(Rom.12:1-2)
           7.  This is done by presenting our bodies “a living  sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God”
           8.
This is foreshadowed by the Old Testament Burnt offering which is to bring us to Christ (Gal.3:24,
                 Matt.5:17-19, Heb.9:1-10 )

     B.   The Burnt Offering - Leviticus)
The Burnt Offering
This is the shadow / type referring to this living sacrifice as it is fulfilled (not destroyed) in Christ.  This is
one of the “spiritual sacrifices” that we (The Priesthood) are to offer according  to the pattern in the true
Tabernacle that Lord pitched and not man.
(Matt.5:17-19 / 1Cor.15:45-46, 1Peter.2:5, Heb.8:1-5; 9:1-10;

Isa.64:6, Rom.7:8, 1Cor.1:29) “For by grace are ye saved through faith; (Sin Offering) and that not                         of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we  are his workman-                        ship, (Rev.1:6; 5:10) created in Christ Jesus unto good  works, (Meal / Food / Meat Offering) which
God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

                     (1)  Rehoboam / counterfeit priest / convince of the people

                           (a)  Produced the burning coals

                           (b)  The same is true in the reality in the true Tabernacle in heavenly places

                b.  We must remain of the Altar / espoused not get entangled with the affairs of the world
                     (Note:
Neh.13:1-24 / James.4:1-4)…

ll.  CONCLUSION

The old serpent (
Rev.12:9 also called Lucifer, the great dragon, the Devil, and Satan) which deceiveth
(deceives) the whole world  is still
(Gen.3:1-2, 1John.4:1-4, 2Cor.11:14) saying “hath God said?” with the purpose       of corrupting of our minds from being conformed to God’s image. (Rom.8:29, 2Cor.3:18, Eph.4:11-16) The way
we can stay strong is to "submit"
(James.4:7) ourselves to God according to the pattern of the Burnt Offering
      A.  Fulfill our accountability as
Priests before the Lord and offer the Sin Offering and Trespass Offering
           BEFORE
Burnt Offering.
      B.  Surrender ourselves of our our free will (soul emotions / soul) voluntary (everything that we are)
on the Altar of the Lord Jesus Christ,
(Heb.13:10, 1Peter.2:5 "by him" (the Altar) not another Jesus
           1.  NOTE: The
Meal Offering (i.e. our good works, giving of money and material things) does not
                accomplish this
           2.  The
Peace Offering (i.e. our worship singing, playing of instruments with strings / wing / percusion)
                does not accomplish this.
           3.  ONLY the Burnt Offering accomplish this when we "present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy
acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service"
(Rom.12:1-2)
                a.  Present -
                b.  Acceptable -
(1Peter.2:5 "by Him JESUS our Altar) Anything else is unacceptable / no respect
                c.  Reasonable - Strong's NT#2144 / well-received, i.e. approved, favorable:—acceptable(-ted) Think
of Cain. His offering was NOT respected
(Gen.4:1-4, 1John.3:12-12, Jude1:11 ("they" are identified in

v.s. 4-13)
                d.  Service -
      C.  Commit to staying on the Altar until you (chaff
Matt.3:11-13 )are totally consumed by the fire of the
Word of God / Holy Spirit. This will result in your soul / mind submitting to God (Jam.4:7) with the sweet
smelling savor of Christ come from your totally consumed life.
(2Cor.2:14-17) THEN you can
resist the Devil (his corruption) and he will flee.

Note:  The value of the Old Testament “types” It  confirms / reinforces that God’s Purpose is His Church
           which Jesus came to build.
Matt.16:18, 1Cor.3:10-15, Eph.2:20-22)  As we study these patterns it tells us
where we have come from, why are we here and where we are going. Like Daniel as he studied the Books
and compared it with God was doing and what he was about to do.
(Dan.9:1-2 / Jer.29:11)

WITHOUT THE PATTERN / BLUEPRINT many center on the "sacrifice" and what you need to give up.
If you give up this and that and leave that space empty something else will fill it. THE BLUEPRINT teaches
allowing God to consume YOU, while giving up thingas is the emphis is on YOU trying to gives up things
