NOW "the children of flesh" of Abraham are adding to The Word of God, which will lead to their eyes being blind and their ears being dull

NOTE:

The Old Testament scriptures constantly pointto the PURPOSE (INTENT) OF GOD. CHRIST, THE MESSIAHTHE PASSOVER LAMB(Eph.2:1-22; 3:1-12)
who the "children of the flesh of Abraham" (The Jews) rejected and established their own righteousness. (Rom.10:2) This is the ABOMINATION

JESUS interprets the "abomination of desolation" spoken by the prophet Daniel[0]to be the destructionof
the city of Jerusalem and the first century earthly Temple / House / Sanctuary.
[0] (Matt.23:38-39), "not one stone
      left upon another"
(Matt.23:1-39; 24:1-4, Dan.9:26-27, Matt.24:15)which has been fulfilled. (70 AD)(REVIEW:

    A.  Why was the earthly Temple destroyed 70 AD
?

To answer this question we must "hear the whole matter" before drawing our
            conclusion.
(Prov.18:13) This "whole matter" begins with Abraham (Gen.12:1-2)
and continues until the earthly Temple / House / Sanctuary  being "left desol-
            ate"(destroyed) in 1st.
Cent. AD
. (Matt.23:38-39; 24:1-3, v.15

            1.  Beginning with Abram (Abraham)

                 a.  After the flood God called Abram / Abraham
(Gen.17:5) out from Ur of the
                      Chaldees / Babylon.
(Gen.12:1-2, Gal.3:1-29)

       b.  God promised Abram that "thy seed"[0](Gen.15:18, Gal.3:16-17, John.8:56,)
                      have I given this "land"
(Gen.12:1-3, v.7; 15:18; 17:18; 24:7; 50:22-26) The
New Testament writer says that Abraham looked beyond that (earthly)
                    Land
(of Canaan) to a
"better country, that is, an heavenly"/ Land
                        Heb.4:1-1/
Heb.11:13-16, Eph.3:5)

                 c.  The children of the flesh (the natural seed) of Abraham came out of Egypt to Sinai
(Exod.12-19:1-3,
                        1Peter.2:5-9, Heb.10:1-4)
and they were given the Law to bring them to Christ, The Messiah. (Exod.19-40,
                        Lev.1-27, Deut.18:15,
Acts.3:22, Matt.5:17-19, Rom.8:1-4, Gal.3:24)

                 d.  When the children of the flesh of Abraham
[0](Rom.9:8) were about to enter "the Land,"
God said that there would be "a place" in the Land where God would "put His name
                    there
."
(Deut.12:1-12, Num.14:31) This "place" was Solomon's Temple(Review: PHASE 2, Page.2)

The New

own works, as God did from His." (Heb.3:7-19; 4:1-10)

   C.  Why destroy the (earthly) Temple?
After threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the
prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood,
and unto the end of the war desolation's are determined." (
Daniel 9:26, Matt.24:15, Mark.13:14, Luke.21:)

          1.  To study this properly we must begin at the beginning.

                   a.  "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."
(Gen.1:1-31; 2:1-3)
                   b.  Man (male and female) was created on the sixth day

(Gen.7-17, 1Tim.2:13, Rom.5:10-12)
                         (2)  Then Eve to be a help met to Adam
(Gen.2:1-25, 1Tim.2:13, 2Cor.11:3)
                         (3)  God walked and talked with Adam and Eve / dwelt among them
(Gen.3:8)

NOTE: This was before sin entered the world, this was before there was a Tabernacle of
Moses and David, and Solomon's Temple

                   c.  BUT Sin entered the world
(Gen.3:1-24, Rom.5:10-12)
                   d.  THEN Man was driven out from God's presence with the promise of Redemption

                   e.   Sin took it's toll until and man had to be destroyed with a flood
(Gen.6:1-22)

         f.   After the FLOOD they built a tower that it might reach heaven (Gen.11:)
                   h.  God confounded their purpose and dispeversed them all throughout the world
(Gen.10)

                   a.  Promised him a LAND, but Before this happens there would be a 400 year bondage to Egypt.

Look at the History of the Temple / House / Sanctuary

                  b.  NOTE: Jesus was not denouncing
[0] the Gentiles (Nations that are not Jewish)[0]He was denouncing

His own because they were held to a greater accountability (John.1:11, Rom.2:1-29; 9:1-33; 10:1-21;
                         11:1-36, Lev.26:1-33
) "For unto whomsoever much is given, (Rom.9:1-5) of him shall be much required:
and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more."
(Luke.12:48)
2Then Jesus and His disciples went out and looked at the buildings of the Temple

                   (Matt.24:1, Mark.13:1, Luke.21:1-4)
The context is the earthly[0] Temple / Sanctuary
                  in the City of Jerusalem.

3Jesus said, "see ye not all these things? (the context is buildings of the earthly
Temple) verily (truly) say unto you there shall not be left one stone upon another,
that shall not be thrown down.
(Matt.24:2)

             4.  Then the disciples said, "When "shall these things be?" (i.e. Not one stone
                  upon another
Matt.24:3)

                  a.  The answer that Jesus gave was,"When ye therefore shall see the abomination
of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet,
(Dan.9:24-27) stand in the holy
place, (whoso eadeth, let him understand:)
Matt.24:15, Mark.13:14. Luke records
this as "when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that
                        the desolation thereof is nigh."
(Luke.21:20) Here is the tie in of the Abomination

                        (1)  Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains
(Matt.24:16; Mark.13:14, Luke.21:21)
                              (a)  What is Judaea? This is the "land of the Jews"

THIS is why there is a Abomination of Desolation

"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for
ye  (you) neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. Woe unto you, scribes
     and Pharisees, hypocrites!
for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.

15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

16 Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!

17 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?

18 And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.

19 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?

20 Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.

21 And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.

22 And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.

23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.

26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,

30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.

31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.

32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.

33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:

35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Jesus said, "When ye (you disciples) therefore shall see the abomination
[1] of desolation,[2] spoken of by
      Daniel the prophet,
(Dan.9:26-27) stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Matt.24:15
Mark's Gospel "standing where it ought not"
(Mark.13:24) Luke's Gospel says, "when ye shall see Jerusalem
compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh."
(Luke.21:20)

    A.  This was the answer that Jesus gave to the disciples question, "when shall these things be?"
And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be?

SUMMARY #2
Jesus was telling the disciples that the (earthly) 1st Century Temple, in the (earthly) City of Jerusalem will have an Abomination standing in the Holy Place which will be desolated (destroyed / Not one stone upon another by armies surrounding it).  Jesus told the disciples that their generation will see it, and Daniel says, that this desolation (that begins in their 1st Century generation) will overspread until the consummation / end time.

This Abomination came about by

Moses: "Him shall you hear"

The Key to understanding what the abomination is that God made desolate

God said to Israel"
I hate, I despise their feast days, and said He would not smell in your solemn assemblies / desolation(Lev.26:31, Amos.5:20-21)
because they failed to accept Christ as the Only High Priest that can come before God and attain mercy and forgiveness.

THIS WAS ABOMINATION TO GOD

They had an Altar, sacrifice "like"
They had a "form"
Don't make anything LIKE it / incense / anointing

are the reality

When Ezekiel saw the glory lift up off the Sanctuary, (Eze.10:10) God name was removed from the Temple. Then it was destroyed by the Babylonians. Later Ezekiel saw the Glory return to the Temple / Sanctuary with His name.

NOTE: The Glory of God was above the Mercy Seat between the two Cherubims, where His name was the recorded. (1Chron.13:6)

NOTE:
Don't be
"beguiled" as Eve was by adding to the Word (Gen.2:16-17; 3:2-3, 2Cor.11:1-4, Prov.30:5)

The only part of the answer that Jesus gave in(Matt.24:4-51) that pertains to the Temple being
destroyed (desolated - not one stone left upon another) is Matt.24:15-22, Dan.9:26-27

The reason sold them into a 70years of captivity is because they ignoredGod's pattern to let the land rest
