Jerusalem Destroyed 70 AD

"For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us" (Heb.9:24)

 "I say the truth
[0] in Christ, I lie not, my conscience[0] also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,  That I
have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.  For I could wish that myself were accursed
 from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:  Who are Israelites;
[0] to whom pertain-
 eth
theadoption, and the glory, and thecovenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God,
 and
the promises." (Rom.9:1-4)

 I.  The Law "pertaineth"
     A.  The giving of the
Lawpertaineth (i.e. belongs) to Paul's kinsmen after the flesh[0](Phil.3:3-8)
           who are Israelites"
(Rom.9:5)
          1.  The Law pertained to them first, to be faithful stewards of these truths which belong to God.
                Look
at the example of stewardship in Eliezer, Abraham's servant (steward).[0]
          2.  Paul's kinsmen after the flesh (the tribe of Benjamin Phil.3:5) began with...
               a.  Thecovenant that God made with
Adam and Eve(Gen.3:15, Rom.16:20, 1Peter.1:18-20)

Noah (Gen.9:8-16, 2Peter.3:1-9, Matt.24:36-37)
               c.  Expanded to the covenant that God made with
Abram (Abraham) which continued
                    through
Isaac and JacobGen.12:1-2; 15:1-22; 21:1-13; 28:1-5, John.8:56, Heb.11:8-16;
                      12:18-22; Rev.21:1-9
)

   (1)  Jacob's name was changed to Israel(Gen.33:28)

(2)  Jacob / Israel had (12) twelve sons. One of these sons was "Benjamin"(Gen.49:1-28)

   (3)  From these twelve sons came "the children of Israel" / Nation(Exod.1-12; 19:1-6,
                             1Peter.5-9, 1Cor.5:7-8, 1Peter.1:18-20)

                    (4)  Paul response to these fleshly achievements. "I count them (the tribe of Benjamin /
                           the children of the flesh
(Rom.8:1-8, 1Cor.1:17-31; 2:1-14, Gal.4:21-28, of Abraham
                             (Rom.9:1-8)
but "dung"[0] (i.e. anything that is "of to flesh[0] (2Chron.32:1-9,
                             1Cor.1:19-31, v.29; 2:1-14, Rom.7:18; 8:6-8 /Heb.11:1-6, Gal.4:21-28
)AFTER THE CROSS
                             (Phil.3:1-15 / 1Peter.1:18-20)
THAT I MAY WIN CHRIST.

d.
God told Abraham after making this covenant that "know of a surety that thy seed
                    (offspring)
[0] shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, (Egypt) and (they, Abraham's seed)
shall serve them; (Egyptains) and they (Egypt) shall afflict them four hundred years; And also that
nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

                      (Gen.15:13-15, Exod.1-12;1-22,
1Cor.10:1-11, Rom.15:4, 1Cor.5:7-8)

NOTE:  These covenants are all made within the context
[0] of God's "intent" (purpose) from the
beginning of the World / earth.
(Gen.1:1, Luke.1:71-72, Acts.3:21, Eph.1:4; 2:1-22; 3:1-2, 1Peter.1:18-20,
                     Rev.13:8; 17:)

               e.  After those 400 years of bondage to Egypt
(Gen.15:13)"God rememberedHis covenant with Abraham,
Isaac and Jacob...and had respectunto them"
(The children of Israel)
                    (1)  "Remembered" and "respected"the children of Israel not because God is a respecter of persons

     (i.e. because they were Hebrews) (Exod.2:24-25, Acts.10:34; 15:9, Rom.2:10; 7:18, Isa.64:6, 1Cor.1:19-29)
                        but because
He honored the covenant
(Heb.6:13-20) that He made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
                             (Gen.12:1-2; 15:1-22, 17:1-22; 18:12-15;
John.8:56, Gal.3:1-29, 4:41-28, Heb.11:8-18)Under the New
                        Covenant
(Testament), God has respect unto us today because of the Covenant that Jesus made at
                           the Cross
(Matt.5:17-19; 26:26-28, Rom.8:1-4, Heb.8:6-13; 10:29; 12:24)

                           NOTE:
It should be noted the Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were not Jews.
                             (Gen.11:10-32; 12:1-2)
The House of Judah (the Jews) is not mentioned until
                        after
the the kingdom of Israel was divided in two.
(2Kings.16:5-6,
                             2Chron.36:22)

                    (2)  Abraham's seed

PHASE.2, Page.3)
                    (4)  This is where God gave Moses the Law
(Exod.19-40, Lev.1-27, Num.1-10,
                             Duet.1-34,
Rom.5:10-14; 7:1-14, 8:1-4, 2Cor.3:1-18)

(5)  Why was the Law given.

It was "added because of transgressions" till the seed (which is Christ / Messiah) should come
to whom the promise was made.
(Gen.3:15,Gal.3:19, Rom.16:20, Col.2:14-15, Rev.12:17) It is "our
                           schoolmaster"
(Gal.3:24; 4:1-28)to bring us to Christ/ the last Adam(1Cor.15:45-46,Eph.2:14-15)

NOTE: Rom.7:7-14)
                           (d)  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass
from the law, till all be fulfilled in Christ.
(Matt.5:17-19)
                           (e)  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments,
[i.e. how they are
                                  fulfilled in Christ]
and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:
but whosoever shall do and teach them,
[i.e. how they are fulfilled in Christ] the same shall be
called great in the kingdom of heaven."
(Matt.5:17-19, Acts.3:18-24;Acts.28:20-23, Rom.3:1-31)
                           (f)  Moses said, "unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your
brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you."

(Deut.18:15, Acts.3:22, Heb.3:1-6)

    (g)  The Law of Moses does not competing against Christ. It establishes faith (Rom.3:21-31) not
"disannul" (to render void, deprive of force and authority)
[0] (opposed to, confirm, make valid)
                                 what God told Abraham.
(Gal.3:13-17) "it is the curse of the Law that is "abolished"

              (5)  CONTINUED: Why was the Law given.
                    (h)  They (Paul's "kinsmen according to the flesh"/ Israelites
[0]were given the Law first (before
                           the Gentiles
[0]) because of Covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Gen.12:1-2;15:1-22; 21:1-

Exod.2:25;Exod.19-40, Lev., Deut., Matt.1:1-17, Luke,3:23-38, John.8:56,Rom.1:16; 9: Gal.3:24,

(Rom.9:8)mocked their birthright as Ishmael did
                                    (looking for

-- Paul's "kinsmen according to the flesh despised their birthright as Esau did. They
sold out
to the flesh (traditions and commandments of men.
                           (b) God was a husband unto the Israelites,
(Jer.3:20; 31:33-35, Heb.8:8-10; 10:1-25) but they played
the harlot and were given a bill of divorcement. and now God is marrying to another.
(Jer.3:6-8)

-- The House of Israel backslid, committed adultery, played the harlot

                           (c)   Jacob (Israel) / Ensample / Birthright did belong to Esau, but he sold it / despised it
                           (d)  Jesus is the only begotten of the Father / we are the Church of the firstborn

                           (a)  This began when the Word became flesh (Gen.1:1, John.1-14, 1Peter.1:18-20) to confirm the

There was no "House of Judah"

--------------------------
However the Bible and History tells us the were not faithfull stewards.
Paul's answer this is
"what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? (Rom.2:10-24, 9:6)
"For they are not Israelwhich are if Israel"[0]

"Also I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning." (1Chron.17:9, Eph.2:19-22; 3:1)
