FOOTNOTES / PHASE 9 (Feast of Pentecost)
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

1.   Pentecost - Note: Abib Abib — an ear of corn, the month of newly-ripened grain (Exod.13:4; 23:15);
the first of the Jewish ecclesiastical year, and the seventh of the civil year. It began about the time of the
vernal equinox, on 21st March. It was called Nisan, after the Captivity (Neh 2:1). On the fifteenth day of
the month, harvest was begun by gathering a sheaf of barley, which was offered unto the Lord on the
sixteenth (Lev 23:4-11).[0]  was celebrated 50 days after the Feast of Passover.(Lev.23:15-22)  This was
the third month in Israel's calendar.

It was fulfilled on the "day of Pentecost" as the Feast of Harvest / Weeks was being celebrated.
(Acts.2:1-17) Just as Passover was fulfilled on the  same day, (Matt.26:17, Mark.14:17, Luke.22:14,
Matt.27:57-62) this Feast was also fulfilled on the same day. That is why "there were dwelling at
Jerusalem Jews, devout men out of every nation under heaven." (Acts.2:5) They were there to
      celebrate this Feast of Harvest / Weeks. (Exod.23:14-19, Deut.12:1-12; 16:16, 1Chron.17:1-15; 22:1-19)

Harvest — the season for gathering grain or fruit. On the 16 th day of Abib (or April) a handful of
ripe ears of corn was offered as a first-fruit before the Lord, and immediately after this the harvest
commenced (Lev 23:9-14; 2 Sam 21:9,10; Ruth 2:23). It began with the feast of Passover and ended with
Pentecost, thus lasting for seven weeks (Ex 23:16). The harvest was a season of joy (Psa.126; Isa 9:3).
This word is used figuratively Matt 9:37; 13:30; Luke 10:2; John 4:35.

(0)  (1906-2020) - Some scoff at this waiting time
(2Peter.3:1-9) However we must see time as God sees
time. Peter says."one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

(REVIEW: PHASE 3)  The purpose for speculating with these numbers is to give an approximate idea of

(0)  Holy day - Strong;s Con.NT#1859 a festival:—feast, holyday.

(0)  Confirmed by Jesus - Matt.5:17 / Jesus Himself said,
      a.  When Jesus "came unto His own" (John.1:11 The "children of the flesh" of Abraham) the Jews,
House of Judah, Children of [Israel, Jacob] / Isaac / Abraham). He came to confirm / fufill (not to
            destroy) the
Covenants made with Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David and including them all together into
one NEW Covenant that included the Gentiles
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come
to destroy, but to fulfill (i.e. to confirm the Feast of Pentecost) When Jesus was crucified, buried and
resurrected, (Passover) He became the HEAD of the Church WHICH IS HIS BODY. (Col.1:18; 2:16-17)
      b.

(0)  Through the Cross
(See chart)

(0)  Fully - Strong's Con. NT#4845 / συμπληρόω symplēróō, soom-play-ro'-o; from G4862 and G4137; to
implenish  completely, i.e. (of space) to swamp (a boat), or (of time) to accomplish (passive, be complete):
       —(fully) come, fill up.

(0)  Historically -
       a.  There was an historical fulfillment (at the Cross) of
Passover and an experiential fulfillment in our
live as we except Christ (i.e. Born again).
       b.  There is an historical fulfillment (on the day of Pentecost) of the Feast of
Pentecost and an
experiential fulfillment in our live as we are Baptized in the Holy Ghost
       c.  There will be an historical fulfillment of
Tabernacles and an experiential fulfillment in our live
as we come to "the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man,
unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ" (i.e. The Bide of Christ)

(0)  Jerusalem (the place) -
      a.  Jesus fulfilled The Feast of Passover (Matt.5:17-19) on the same day they were keeping this natural
Feast in Jerusalem which was according to the Law.  (Deut.12:1-12) which would be until John the
           Baptist Luke.16:16)
      b.  There was an overlapping of John's ministry and Jesus (John.1-)
      c.  During the time (3 1/2 years) of Jesus (The Word) confirming the covenant (Dan.9:27, Gal.3:17) He
rebuked "His own" (the children of the flesh of Abraham) and said, "My House should be a house of
           Prayer
after which this would be the "end" of the natural Feast of Passover. Now we "keep this feast"
in Christ (1Cor.5:7-8) every day, not just once a year.

the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;"

(0)  Fruit - The reason we know this is the "fruit" Harvest of the Feast of Tabernacles is...
       a.  The context of James.5:7-8 is clearly speaking of the reality / fulfillment of the Feasts because
the purpose for the rains (early and latter) was to bring in the Harvest of both (Deut.11:14, Lev.26:3-5)
       b.  James says that God is still waiting for both rains.
            (1)  The early rain was historically fulfilled on the day of Pentecost (1st. Cent,)
            (2)  The latter rain is still to be fulfilled
            (3)  Why God inspire (2 Tim.3:16-17) James to write about the restoration of the early rain of
Pentecost, with the latter rain which is yet to be fulfilled.
                   (a)  Jesus did fulfill the early rain and the Grain Harvest
[Review PHASE 9, Page.1]
                   (b)  However they failed to move on with God and lost all the truth's had been established
in the Church. This resulted in  a spiritual decline
[PHASE 2, Page 4-5] down the the dark ages.
                   (c)  God foreknew this and prophesied through Joel (Joel.2:18-27) that He would restore it back
along with the brand NEW Feast of tabernacles that not yet been fulfilled

(0)  We must keep (proclaim) it - Every year the Church in the wilderness were to keep the Passover on
       the 14th. day of the 1st. month. (Exod.12:1-14, Lev.23:1-8)
       a.  It is to be kept (1 Cor.5:7-8) "in the place which he shall choose" (Deut.12:1-12; 16:16-17)
If they did not, then they never experienced it even though God provided the pattern. (Exod)
       b.  If "we believe not, yet he abideth (abides) faithful: he cannot deny himself. (2 Tim.2:13, Heb.6:16-20)
Our unbelief does not stop the pattern in God's Word. (NOTE: Rom.9:1-33, Note v.6) In the Church
world today some refuse and "laugh them to scorn" and mock the proclamation to keep the feast of
Passover, cutting themselves off from God's love and redemption. (2 Chron.30:10-27)
       c.  Examples of the Feasts being ignored by the Church in the wilderness, yet God remained faithful
            (Num.9:13-14, 2 Kings.23:20-23, 2 Chron.3:1-5, Ezra.6:9-21)
       d.  Other examples of patterns ignored
            (1)  Letting the Land rest every 7 Years (Lev.25:1-7; 26:1-35) 2 Chron.36:21, Jer.29:10-11

(0)  Wait / Long Patience -For whatsoever things were written aforetime Old Testament) were written
for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” Waiting
because of purpose / plan / blueprint / Waiting patience is understandable by looking at the blueprint.
      The overall picture
      a.  Noah’s ark (Gen.6:1-, 2 Peter.3:1-9, Acts.3:18-24)
      b.  Abrahams seed (400 years / Joseph Get.45: / OT Heroes Died in faith Heb.11:1- Their confession) Jesus            said Abraham saw my day - and waited
      c.  Moses said, “a prophet like unto me…” waited
      d. David / Not building the Temple - it was for Solomon to build
      e. Prophets / It was revealed unto them that it to us they prophesied about the sufferings of Christ
and the Glory that should follow
     f.  James.5:7-8  The husbandman waiteth until He received both rains
     g.  Joel.2:25  I will restore (a waiting time makes more sense when understanding the blueprint

(0)  Zion - Comes
through the Cross and becomes the New Testament Church

(0)  The same is true - "Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter
and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them...
       a.  Repent (Passover)
       b.  Be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins (Unleavemed
            Bread)
       c.  and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Pentecost)
            (1)  And the Spirit will leads us into all truth
            (2)  Evidenced in the Epistles (Resulting in the Feast of Tabernacles)
       e.  For the promise (this order) is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as
many as the Lord our God shall call.

(0) Jesus -  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God, All things (including the pattern of the Feast of Pentecost)
were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. (John.1:1-4, Col.1:14-20,
Heb.1:1-2) He was the WORD made flesh (John.1:14) the same WORD that God spoke to Moses when He
      gave the Law.

(0)  Blow a trumpet in Zion - Blow a trumpet in Zion (The Church) "be glad" (Joel.2:23)
Blow  the trumpet...sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly is Feast of Tabernacles (Lev.23:23-
Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you (i.e. those
there on the day of Pentecost) the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you
the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month." (Joel 2:23)
       a.  The Lord also shall roar out of Zion. (Joel 2:23-25, 2Sam.5:7, Psa.125:1, Rom.9:23, 1Peter.2:6 /
Eph.2:20-22, Heb.12:22) After the Cross, "Zion" is the Church.
            (1)  Definition of "roar" - (
            (2)  Roaring out of His Church
            (3)  Blow the trumpet (Joel.2:15, Num.10:1-10)
            (4)   Prophetic Word (Isa.58:1) -- The sons of Aaron (the Priesthood (1Peter.2:5-9 / Joel.2:17) under
the direction of Aaron High Priest) were to blow the trumpets. Blow the trumpet in Zion (in the
                   Church)
            (5)  The Lord shall "utter his voice from Jerusalem" / Church (See chart)
            (6)  And the heavens and the earth shall shake." (Haggai.2:1-9, Heb.) but the Lord will be the hope
of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel. (Joel 3:16)

NOTE: We must remember(0) that "It was "the Spirit of Christ which was in...[Joel that]...did
signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, (Acts.3:18) and the glory (
                  (Acts.3:18-24) that should follow." (1Peter.1:11-12)

(0)  Coming of the Lord draweth nigh - Since Jesus (our
Passover) was crucified at the end of the 4th day,
       of God's
Redemptive Week, we have completed the 5th. day and are (approximately) in the end of the
6th. day. Making our time to be (approximately) the last of the last days. (Keep in mind that "of that day
and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Matt.24:36) When the
       New Testament writer's said...
       a.  1Corinthians 7:29 - The time is short
       b.  Acts 2:17 - in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh
       c.   2 Timothy 3:1 - This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
       d.  Hebrews 1:2 - Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of
all things, by whom also he made the worlds
       e.  James 5:3 - Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you,
and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
       f.  1 Peter 1:5 - Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed
            in the last time.
       g.  1 Peter 1:20 - Who verily (Jesus our Passover Lamb) was foreordained before the foundation of the
world, but was manifest in these last times for you. (At the end of the 4th day)
       h.  2 Peter 3:3 - Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their
            own lusts.
       i.   1 John 2:18 - Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even
now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
        j.  2Peter.3:3 - Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their
            own lusts.

They were speaking of these 5th and 6th days because the same Holy Spirit that inspired the
words is the same Holy Spirit that in inspired "one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a
thousand years as one day.  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count
slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should
            come to repentance.(2Peter.3:1-9)

(0)  Rain / Seed - The rain was so that the seed would yield it's fruit. (Deut.11:11-17) Paul says, I have
planted. (i.e. the seed of the Word - Matt.13:1-23, 1Peter.1:23) Apollos has watered (John.4:14,
2Peter.2:17) and God gave the increase. (1Cor.3:1-10, Deut.28:12)  God will come unto us as the former
and latter rains. (Hosea.6:3, James.5:7-8) Gods favor is as the rain. (Prov.16:15)  A false gift is like clouds
and wind without rain. (Prov.25:14, Jude.1:12)  Rain righteousness unto you. (Hosea.10:12) The
rain foreshadows the out pouring of the Holy Ghost. (Kingdom of God language!)
