FOOTNOTES / Heb.10:25(as you see the day approaching)
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

[0]   There were many "days"-
These days were "crucial" for the "church in the wilderness" (Acts.7:38) to
keep under the Law of Moses. They carried a heavy penalty if ignored.
(Exod.16:10-26, Num.15:31-36,0,
         Zech.14:16-19 )

        a.  There were "days" (Every 7th. day / Sabbath)
Exod.16:10-26, Num.15:31-36)
        b.  A Week of Weeks ( 7 days x 7 Weeks to the Feast of Harvest
Lev.23:15-21)
        c.   A Week of Months (The Feasts were in the 1st, 3rd, and 7th Month)
Lev.23:1-, Deut.16:16-17
        d.  A Week of Years (Every 7th year they were to let the Land rest / 7th year x 7 years (49 years) they were
to "blow" the trumpet of Jubilee
[0] on the 10th day of the 7th month(Lev.25:1-55, Note: v.9)
        e.  There are some say in the Church world...
              (1)  Oh "that's (keeping days, weeks, months and years) the Old Testament Law, I am under grace.

                      (John.1:17)
"Why then did Jesus say that He did not destroy[0] the Law? (Matt.5:17-19, Rom.3:21-31)
                       (a)  .

              (2)  Then there are others in the Church that say, that you still need to keep the Law even though you
                    have
redeemed by the blood of Christ. (1Peter.18-20)
                    (a)  The purpose of the Law is to expose sin
(Rom.7:7-14; 8:1-4)
                    (b)  The Law CANNOT take away sin
(Heb.1:4)
                    (c)   The Law was "a schoolmaster to us to Christ"
(Gal.3:24) who cleanses us from ALL sin.
                              (Heb.9:1-29; 10:1-25)

                    (d)  NOTE: Acts.15:5-35
                    (e)  Break one law, guilty of all the Law
()

(f)  No flesh is justified before God (Rom.3)

              (3)  The Galatain Churches had this problem. (Gal.1-6)

                      (a)  Paul called this another Jesus
                    (b)  Bewichted

        f.   THE PURPOSE of These days, weeks, months and years were "to bring us to Christ who did NOT
              destroy the Law.
(Gal,3:24, Matt.5:17-19, Rom.3:21-8:1-4)
              (1)  For example:-
        g.   Paul wrote, (to the Galatian Churches) "Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.  I am afraid
of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labor in vain." you (Galatain's) are go after "another Jesus"

   (Gal.4:10-11, NOTE: Rom.14:1-)

NOTE: How they added another Feast day that was not in the Levitical  Law (Esther)

[0]    He did not destroythe Law? - What about the scriptures that say...
        a.  The Law was "done away with" the penalty of the Law
(2Cor.3:1-18)

(1)  Done away (2Cor.3:7, 11, 14)
                    (a)  How was glory of the Law "done away?"
                    (b)  .
                    (c)   .
              (2)
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son
in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the
law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
(Rom.8:1-4)
              (2)  .
        b.  Abolished the Law
()
        c.  Christ is the end of the Law
()

[0]   Paul - Consider this comparison between Moses and Paul

[0]   Sundrytimes - (Strong's NT#4181 / in many portions, i.e. variously as to time and agency (piecemeal):—
        at sundry times.

[0]   Don't let things "slip" - (Stong's NT#3901 / to flow by, i.e. (figuratively) carelessly pass (miss):—let slip.
        Thayer's Lex. (drift)
        a.  There were
Judaizers infultrating amongst the Hebrews (like those a the region of Galatia) mixing
keeping the Law and Grace. This doctrine was considered by Paul to be "bewitching"
(Gal.3:1, Heb.2:1-4)
(Think about what Samuel told Saul
1Sam.15:1-23)
        b.  History tells us that "These converts were in constant danger of relapsing into Judaism, or at least of
attaching too much importance to ceremonial observances."
(Thompson chain reference Bible

[0]    That the Word became flesh dwelt amongst us and named JESUS - The Hebrew Christians understood
because ALL the Church (the Body of Christ) preached this.
(1Cor.1:10, Gal.1:1-12) However the Hebrew's
were not  giving "earnest heed to the things" that they had heard and were letting this truth "slip."  They
were letting "slip" the truth the Christ is the ONLY High Priest that represents us before God.

[0]   Binding on all Christians - When JESUS (The Word made flesh John.1:1-14) came with "grace and truth"

(John.1:17) He did not destroy the Law[0] and the Prophets,[0] He fulfilled them. (Matt.5:17-19, Rom.3:1-31;
         8:1-4)
God has not abolished His Law. He has abolished the penalty for breaking the Law as we are in Christ.

(Rom.8:1-4, Gal.3:13)
        a.  However there were
"Judaizser's" that insisted on keeping parts of the Law
             (1)  This was the problem in the Churches of Galatia
                    (a)  .

                    (b)  .
             (2)  Paul: If you break one part of the Law you are guilty of ALL the Law
             (3)  They were begilded / going after another Jesus
(Gal.1:, 2Cor.11:1-15)
        b.  There is
Judaism | the monotheistic religion of the Jews.• the Jews collectively. For its origins Judaism
looks to the biblical covenant made by God with Abraham, and to the laws revealed to Moses and
recorded in the Torah (supplemented by the rabbinical Talmud), which established the Jewish people's
special relationship with God. Since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in ad 70, the rituals of
Judaism have centered on the home and the synagogue, the chief day of worship being the Sabbath
(sunset on Friday to sunset on Saturday), and the annual observances including Yom Kippur and
             Passover.

[0]   Heb.8:1-5- If he (JESUS) was on earth he would not be a High Priest

[0]   He did not destroy the Law (He fulfilled the Law) - "what the law could not do,
(Heb.10:1-4) in that it
        was weak through the flesh,
(Rom.3:20-31; 5:10-12) God sending his own Son (Matt.1:18-25, John.1:1-14)
        in the likeness
(Phil.2:5-10) of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh. (Rom.8:1-4) That the
        righteousness
(Rom.7:7-14) of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the
        Spirit.

[0]   He did not destroy the Prophets (He fulfilled them) - Therefore the Prophets are fulfilled in Christ, they
        spoke to us (the Church
Acts.3:18-24; 28:20-231Peter.1:10-12,

[0]   Esaias, (Isaiah) - Same person. Esaias is Greek / Isaiah is Hebrew. A similar thing with JESUS and Joshua
Joshua is Hebrew and Jesus is Greek word the Hebrew word for Joshua

[0]   Previous to the writing - (Hebrews was approx. 50 years? after Pentecost) Peter, Paul, John, James were
writing to the entire Church. For example:-
        a.  The Book of Acts is the History of the 1st. Cent. Church "
the Lord added to the church daily such as
             should be saved."
(Acts 2:47)  There was no other Church yet
        b.  The Book of Romans | "to all that be in Rome"
(Rom.1:7)

[0]   Judaizers who regarded the Levitical laws of the Old Testament as still binding on all Christians - What
they failed to see (or refused to see) that JESUS (The MESSIAH) did not destroy the Law, He fulfilled the Law

(Matt.5:17-19, John.1:17, Rom.3:21-31; 8:1-4) For example:-
        a.
Acts.15:1-16

Certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised
after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.

2 When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.

3 And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.

4 And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.

5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.

[0]   These "Judaizers" where found among the Pharisses / Sadduchcees / High Priest / Temple Guards
Church at Jerusalem Preached to the Jews only Sect of the Pharisses that believed, and also  found in the
        Churches of Galatia

[0]   The Apostle and High Priest of our profession,[0] - Strong's NT#3671 / from the same as G3670;
        acknowledgment:—con- (pro-)fession, professed.
        a.  Apostle - One of the five ministry gifts given by JESUS (to the Church) at His ascension
(Eph.4:11-16)
             (1)  He (JESUS) gave "some apostles" (prophets, evangelist, pastors and teachers) to the Church (the
body of  Christ "Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God,
unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ"
(Eph.4:11-16; 5:21-32

(2)  The purpose for this is so we will equally yoke with Christ in marriage as Eve was to the first Adam

  (Gen.2:4-25, 1Cor.15:45-46, 2Cor.6:14-18; 11:1-4)
        b.  High Priest -
(See PHASE 4, Page.9)
             (1)  There were marriage Laws for the high priest under the Old Covenant which JESUS said He would
                   fulfill.
(Matt.5:17-19, Rom.8:1-4)
                   (2)
