l. What is "stand in the Holy Place"

Jesus said, "When ye (you) therefore shall see the
abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet,
stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, [reads] let him understand:)

   A.  History records "when"to stand in the Holy Place

           1.  It was in 70 AD (Historical account)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siege_of_Jerusalem_(70_CE)
           2.  By this time
(70 AD)  Jesus had been crucified, causing "the sacrifice and oblation to cease"
           3.  The Vail of the Temple had been "rent" (divided)
[44] in "twain (two),[45]
           4.  And their Temple was "left desolate" (Matt.23:36) All they had left was a dead form of godlyness
           5.  When Jesus said that the Temple would be destroyed, they (the disciples) also knew that Jesus had
               "yet many things to say"
unto them (disciples) about the abomination of desolation) but they (the
disciples) could not bear (bear, carry, take up)
[1] them now". (John.16:12-15) Howbeit, "when He, the
Spirit of truth, did come (Acts.2:1) He lead the Church into all truth (about the Abomination of
                 desolation.
                 (a)  Romans expands on why the Abomin. Desol.

            6.  The Book of Acts and the Epistles reveal how the Holy Spirit did guide / lead the Church into all truth
                 (a)  Daniel calls for the city and a Sanctuary to be built again. (Ishmael, Hagar, Flesh Sinai, Sodom
                        and Egypt
                 (b)  Daniel calls for the sacrifice and oblation to cease. Jesus fulfilled the animal sacrifices
                 (c)   Rom.9-11 Cut off / Broken off,

Therefore when Jesus said, "stand (or standing) in the Holy Place", He was speaking of the reality of
the Holy place for shadowed by the Tabernacle and the Temple.

1.  "When you" (the disciples Matt.23:23:1-39; 24:1-3, 15) see this abomination of desolation, I will have
                been

   C.  What is the Holy Place?

The "holy place" is first mentioned in the Tabernacle pattern that God gave to Moses. "hang up the vail
under the taches, that thou (you) mayest (may) bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony:
and the vail shall divide unto you between the
holy place and the most holy". (Exod.26:33) God dwelt in
this pattern until David, (Exod.25 -1Sam.4) then move to David's Tabernacle (1Chron.13-16) and finally
           stopping at Solomon's Temple. (1Chron.28:19,

   B.  What is standing (or stand)where it ought not

Remember the Abomination is the filthy, disgusting, idolitarious
[33] rejection of Jesus / Messiah by
"the children of the flesh" of Abraham (i.e. natural Israel Rom.9:1-8, Luke.19:41-44) as He confirmed of
           the covenant and causing the sacrifice and oblation the cease. (Dan.9:27, Rom.10:8, Gal.3:17, Heb.9:1-10;
            10:1-24)
We must also include Rom.9, 10 and 11 with this verse.

Matthew says "stand", Mark says "standing

The "Holy Place" foreshadows the 5th and 6th day (we called the "Church Age") Thessalonians tells us
will sit in the Temple of God / The Church (2Thes.2:4) in the Church Age when he is revealed in his time.
However, the spirit of antichrist is ALREADY IN THIS WORLD (The Church Ages / Holy Place) counterfeiting
what the Holy Spirit of Christ is doing in the preparation of the Bride.
