Jesus said, "When ye (you) therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, [reads] let him understand:)

Therefore when Jesus said, "stand (or standing) in the Holy Place", He was speaking of the reality of the Holy place for shadowed by the Tabernacle and the Temple.

C. What is the Holy Place?
The "holy place" is first mentioned in the Tabernacle pattern that God gave to Moses. B. What is standing (or stand)where it ought not
Remember the Abomination is the filthy, disgusting, idolitarious [33] rejection of Jesus / Messiah by "the children of the flesh" of Abraham (i.e. natural Israel Rom.9:1-8, Luke.19:41-44) as He confirmed of the covenant and causing the sacrifice and oblation the cease. Matthew says "stand", Mark says "standing
The "Holy Place" foreshadows the 5th and 6th day (we called the "Church Age") Thessalonians tells us will sit in the Temple of God / The Church (2Thes.2:4) in the Church Age when he is revealed in his time.
