The Sabbath Rest

Deut.6:1-15 When you come into the land10 And it shall be, when the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,
11 And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;

Each Feast day (Seventh month / Tabernacles / REST / Solomon's Temple / Peace REST / The LAND (Heb.3:7-19; 4:1-11)
Every seventh year
The Day of Atonement was a Sabbath
Come unto me - give you rest / Sabbath / Take yoke / Don't need to worry about which way to go when you are yoke with JESUS. (IF you are unequally yoke you will have trouble / Flesh agains the Spirit




There are many Sabbaths mentioned in the Old Covenant

Why is the Sabbath for the LAND so important to God?                               

(a)  The manna was  to be collected six days / no collecting on the seventh day|                               
(b)  Man picking up sticks on the seventh day / Judged                               
(c)  When they came into the LAND everything done (Deut.                               
(d)  Solomon a man of rest (1Chron.19:22)                     
(e)   The Pharisees and Saducees argued with JESUS over this       
(f)   Rom.14 It is not the literal day after the Cross it ceasing from your own works (FLESH / Ishmael Goal.4)   
(f)  There remains a rest (Sabbath rest) Heb.4:11 ceasing from our  works                               
(g)  The 1000 year rest (Ultimate Sabbaths



 God is meticulous about His patterns / SABBATHS  (types, shadows, figures) THE LAND.                                                              This LAND was speaking "of a day" in the New Covenant. (Heb.4:1-11) NOTE: These                                examples of how important the types, shadows, and figures are,                                                                                  
(a)  Aaron two sons (Lev.10:1-2; 16:1-2, Heb.5:1-8)                                                                                                              
(b)  Moses striking the Rock (Num.20, 1Cor.10:1)                                                                                                                
(c)  Carried the Ark on a newcart (                                                                                             
(d)  The men of Bethshemesh looked into the Ark (1Sam.7:19-21, Lev.10:1-2, Heb.9:7)                                                   (e)  Uzzah touching the Ark of the Covenant (2Sam.3:6-8 / Num.4:15)                                                                                                        NOTE: In the Book of Daniel. some came against the daily sacrifice. this was an assalt on                                      God in heaven. (to heaven itself)
