I. The Book of Exodus(Expanding the "matter"- (Prov.18:13 / Word / Language)
NOTE: When studying this book we must remember that the Law "was a figure [0]
for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that
could not [0] make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the con-
science; Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and
carnal ordinances, imposed [0] on them until the time of reformation. (until
Christ [0] comes) Heb.9:1-10) Therefore Law was not intended to be exclusive to
the Jews, it was and is PART OF God's purpose "from the beginning of the world",
to bring the Jew and the Gentiles to Christ. (Gal.3:24, Eph.2:11-19; 3:1-12,
Matt.5:17-19, Rom.3:21-31; 7:7-14, Rom.8:1-4)
A. This Old Testament Book records Abraham's seed being afflicted (in bondage to Egypt) for 430 years.

1. The Calling of Moses (Exod.2:23-25; 3:1-00, Deut.18:15, Acts.3:22, Heb.3:1-19; 4:1-11)
2. Then the children of Israel were delivered from Egypt with the last and final plague (Judgment Gen.5:14)
which was the death of all the firstborn in Egypt. (Exod.11:1-10; 12:1-14 / 1Cor.5:7-8)
3. Israel was protected from this judgment (Gen.15:14) by applying the blood of the Passover Lamb and
were released from the bondage of Egypt (Exod.12:1-51; 13:1-22; 14:1-31, 1Cor.5:7-8, 1Peter.1:18-20)
4. After this release God land them through the red sea. (Exod.13:17-31, 1Cor.10:1-11)
5. Then they arrived at Mt Sinai (Exod.19:1, 16, 2Cor.3:1-18)
6. At Sinai Moses received the Law on tablets of stone (Exod.19-40, 2Cor.3:1-18)
7. Moses received the Pattern of the Tabernacle (Exod.25-40, Heb.8:1-5; 9:1-28; Heb.10:1-10)
8. Moses received the pattern of the High Priest and Priesthood (Exod.28:1-43, 1Peter.2:5, 9, Heb.2:17; 3:1;
4:15-16; 5:1-6; 6:20; 7:1-28; 8:1-5; 9:1-28)
9. Moses received the pattern of the Levitical Offerings (Lev.1-5; 1Peter.2:5, Rom.12:1-2, Phil.4:18, Eph.5:1-2,
Heb.13:15-16)
