?

These generations will not be in the Bride

I.  What about the generations that will not see the Marriage of the Lamb?

It has already been established that the dead in Christ will not be in the Bride because they simply did
not live long enough. Only the alive and Remaining generation (1Thes.4:13-18) will experience this final
move of God. The generations before us were accountable for the "present truth" that God was reveal-
ing.  "David served his generation by the will of God" (Acts.13:36, 1Chron.12:32; 28:19)

     A.  Old Testament generations

They will come to perfect / matiurity
Noah was perfect, Abraham be perfect In the New Testament / 5
fold to bring each generation to maturity / perfection. (Eph.4:11)

      1.  Adam did not realize that he was "figure"(Eph.3:5)

Adam never saw what he was a "figure" for.

           2.  Abel better things

By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent (Lamb / Christ) sacrifice than Cain, by which he
             obtained witness that
he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

            3.  Abraham rejoiced to see Christ's day / Looked for a city / Bride

Seed would come into the Land / Some did not see it/ Joseph heard about it / told people about it
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but
             1.  having seen them afar off, and
             2.  were persuaded of them, and
             3.  embraced them, and
             4.  confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
             5.  For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
             6.  And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might
have had opportunity to have returned.

But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be
called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

        4.  Moses said, "a prophet unto me..."(Law bears witness Rom.3:21-32

          5.
King David is an excellent approach / prep for solomon

6.   The Prophet's knew they were speaking to us
(1Peter.1:10-12
. Prepared for the next Generation.

      B. New Testament generations

             Eph.4:13-16 Bride
Due Season ____________________________________________________________________________________ 0.  Died in Faith (Heb.11:14-16) 0. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if        we faint not. (Gal 6:9) 0.  Born out of due season (1Cor.15:1- Paul 0.  Feasts were to be proclaimed in their season 0.  Be in and out of Season (1Cor.15:) 0.  To everything there is a season (Eccl.3:1-) 0.  Genesis: Set for times and seasons) 0.  Times of refreshing (properly, cool, a recovery of breath, i.e. (figuratively) revival:—revival.)      Adam and Eve met with God in the “cool” of the evening” (Gen.3:)
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
