I. Old and New Testament saints resurrect together

Paul writes (which the same as eschatology as Jesus Gal.1:11-12) that at the coming (parousia) [00] of our
Lord Jesus Christ there will a gathering (i.e. the COMPLETE
[00] collection, dead and alive) together unto him.

 (1Thes.4:13-18, 2Thes.2:1-5)

      A. From Adam to Moses (Rom.5:13-14, Eph.3:1-5)

"Wherefore, as by one man (Adam)  sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed
upon all men, for that all have sinned." Death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not
sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression.
(Rom.5:13)  At the times of this ignorance (Adam to
            Moses) God winked
[49] at; (overlook, i.e. not punish [52 / 50] because there was no Law)
            Note:
Rom.2:10-15; 5:10-12; 7:7-14)

1. However they were accountable for...

a. The knowledge that an innocent animal was to be sacrificed to shed it's blood to cover
                       their sin
(Gen.3:1-24) until the woman's) (Gen.3:15) seed shall bruise the head of the serpent.

b. They were held accountable to the knowledge that they must come through a blood
                      sacrifice / offering.
(Gen.4:1-4)

c.  They knew about calling on the name of the Lord. (Gen.4:26)

d.  After the flood Noah Incorporated all this knowledge and then expanded to having an Altar to
                      offer sacrifice on.
(Gen.8:20) This continued through Abram (Abraham) Isaac, Jacob (12 Sons, tribes.
Nation of Israel) until Moses. "...even over them that had not sinned after the similitude (likeness)
[51]
                      of Adam's transgression."

Note: When those whose "conscience" bore "witness, (i.e. accountable for the knowledge
from Adam to Moses) were gathered unto "their" people,
(Gen.35:29; 49:29, Num.20:24-26; 27:12-14,
                        Dan.12:1-2 [37 / 42]  Luke.16:19-31
[53])
providing they had been accountable to the knowledge they
                      had. When
Jesus came paid the price for their sin.
(1Cor.6:19-20) He took their "captivity captive"
                        (Eph.4:8, Heb.11:40)
and now they are the "dead in Christ" with all the New Testament saints.

God's Redemptive plan is unfolding from "glory (Old Covenant) to glory (New Covenant 2Cor.3:1-18)

B. From Moses to Christ the accountability is greater / knowledge

Note: All the truths (understanding from Adam to Moses) were included in the Law of Moses and
            expanded to a greater accountability,
Review: I. a. (I) while still looking forward to the woman's (Gen.3:15)
seed shall bruise the head of the serpent.

The apostle Paul wrote,"I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had
said, Thou shalt not covet". (Knowledge / accountability greater) "For without the law sin was dead
For I was alive without the law once: (from Adam to Moses) but when the commandment came, (Moses to
Christ) sin revived, and I died".
(Rom.7:7) A greater accountability was "imposed (like a "schoolmaster"

Gal.3:24,Rom3:20-31) on them to bring them to time of reformation. (i.e. until the time that Christ came.

Gal.3:24, Matt.5:17-19, Rom.3:21-31, Heb.10:1-4[48] These gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that
            did the service perfect,
(Heb.10:1-4) as pertaining to the conscience." For it is not possible that the blood of
bulls and of goats should take away sins".
(Heb.10:1-4)

When all those from Moses to Christ died they were gathered unto "their" people, (Gen.35:29; 49:29,
             Num.20:24-26; 27:12-14, Dan.12:1-2
[37 / 42]  Luke.16:19-31
[53]) providing they had been accountable by
offering animal sacrifice for their sin according to the Law of Moses. When Jesus came and
paid the price
for sin (Heb.9:1-29; 10:1-10) their redemption was complete. (Eph.4:8, Heb.11:40) They now become the
dead in Christ with all the New Testament saints.
