Broken offfrom the Olive Tree

I.   "Well; because of unbelief they were broken off..."

II.  "...and thou (you Gentiles) standest (stand) by faith. Be not high minded, but fear: ..."

III.  For if God spared not the natural branches, (the children of the flesh of Abraham Rom.9:1-21

IV.  take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which f
       fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut
       off. And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in:

V.   For God is able to graft them in again. (To God's Israel Gal.6:15-16) For if thou wert (you was) cut out of the
      olive tree
which is wild by nature, and wert (was) grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree:

      A.  God is able to graft them in again. (Not because they are Jews and have an advantage over the Gentile)
            1.  God respects no mans person
            2.  God is able (without their help) just He is able to graft in the Gentiles to His Purpose (Olive Tree /
                 Israel of God (Gal.6:15-16)
      B.  There is a wild Olive Tree
           1.  Figuratively used in Ro 11:17,24 for the Gentiles, grafted into "the good olive tree" of Israel.

VI.  How much more shall these, which be the natural (children of the flesh of Abraham Rom.9:8) branches,
       (Rom.9:1-21)
be grafted into their own olive tree?

       A.  How much more these natural branches

            Paul is NOT say that (Daneil's people / The House of Judah / The Jews) can by pass th Cross and be
            accepted by God because their geneology as Jews

             1.  The natural man cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God (1Cor.2:14)
             2.  Paul says, natural Jerusalem is spiritual Hagar / Ishmael / The Flesh
             3.  No flesh to glory in His sight (1Cor.1:29)
       B.  Own Olive Tree
             1.  Eph.2:11-12
             2.  Rom.9:1-6
       B.  How much more shall these, which be the natural
            1.  How much / But they still need to saved (
            2.  There is no spark of divinity in a the Children of the flesh of Abraham
                 a.  They need to be reconcilied
                 b.  Death has passed on all men   / For all have sin

VII. For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own
       conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come (graffed) in".
        (Rom.11:20-25)


       A.  What advantage has the Jew?  (Rom.3:1-2)
            1.  Advantage
            2.  The had to Covenants
            3.  Rom.2:28 He is not a Jew which is one outwardly, but he is a Jew inwardly
            4.  After the Cross these are not the children of God

      The olive tree



I.  They were broken of from the Covenants of Promise my to the forefaters
2. which all pointed to Christ the  Messiah, who they rejected. 
3. and now there remains no more sacrifice for sin.
4. The blood of bulls and goats could never take away sin (Heb.10:1-10) yet God accepted this covering for
     their sin to be covered

5. UNTIL the reality came and now God does not accept the substitutionary animal sacrifice
6. Now the wrath of God abides upon them because they refuse (dispised / Mocked) God's redemptive plan
7. If they abide still not in unbelief they can be graffed back in again meaning. Accepting Christ as the Messiah
    who is the fuldfillment of the Old Covenant.

*. God did not break His Covenant, (Heb.6:16-20) they caused their own "breaking off" establishing their own

    righteousness
9. This is demonstrated in Him confirming the remainder of the Covenant to Natural Israel. "If we believe not, He still abides faithful" He cannot deny Himself (2Tim.2:13)
