"There appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born" (Rev.12:1-4).
A. This Rev.12Woman is a future Woman (She has not happened yet)
This conclusion is made because of what John was told. "Write the things which thou (you)
hast (have) seen, (Rev.1:1-18) and the things which are, (Rev.2 - 3) and the things which shall
be hereafter; (that are in the future, Rev.4-11) This Revelation12 Woman is included in the
"hereafter", the future to John.
B. There are two woman in Revelation
There is a Godly Woman who is "a great wonder in heaven", who Satan wants to destroy, (Rev.12:4, 12, 15-17), "a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered."
Think of Noah in the Ark. Jesus said, "as it was in the days of Noe (Noah), so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all" (Luke.17:25-27).
There will be an "alive and remaining" people of God that will be protected. As in the days of Noah. This protection will last as long as the destruction. As in the days of Noah. This Godly Woman will be protected for the same length of time as the time of the man of sin. (42 months, 1260 days, time, times and half a time, time times and dividing of times). (Gen.7:23, 1Thes.4:15)
