The Cleansing Of The Sanctuary (Review from Page.1)

A Quick Review: There are two separate visions (i.e. the Ram and the He Goat (Dan.8:1-14,15-25) and the vision of the "evening and the morning" (days Dan.8:14)[0] and the Cleansing of the Sanctuary. (Review: Page.1)

I.  The Ram is identified[0]as Media-Persia, and the rough goat as Greece which comes and destroys
    A.  Media-Persia, takes away the daily sacrifice,[0] and the place of his sanctuary was cast down [0]
    B.  This was taking place under the Old Covenant
         1.  When animal sacrifices were still in force (Matt.11:13, Heb.9:1-10)
         2.  When there was a earthly Temple / Sanctuary of God "made with hands" (Dan.8:9,v.23-24, 2Chron.5:7,
              Mark.14:58, John.2:18-20, Acts.7:47-48; 17:24, Eph.2:1-22, 1Peter.2:5)
    C.  After seeing this vision Daniel heard "one saint speaking, and another saint said...how long shall this
         casting down of the Sanctuary [Temple, House of God] be? (Dan.8:13-14)
         1.  The answer that Daniel heard was there would be 3,300 days"the Sanctuary will cleansed."
         2.  This answer had nothing to do with Ram and he goat vision, which was desolation of the Sanctuary)
         3.  Daniel "sought for the meaning" (Dan.8:15)
         4.  NOTE: Gabriel interpreted (Dan.8:15-25) the Ram and the He goat
