"These days" are two last 2000 years (1st.- 20th Century)
These are the "last days" that Peter spoke of. (Acts.2:17 Review: Phase 3) When the Prophets spoke of "these days," they were speaking of the "sufferings of Christ and the Glory that should follow." (1Peter.1:10-12) Peter defines the "glory that should follow" as " the restitution (restoration) of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began." (Acts.3:21) This makes the language (i.e. The "scriptures" Rom.16:25-26) of the Prophets, crucial in the understanding of our present day because we are living in the "these days," i.e. the last of the last two days of God's Redemptive Week.

Jesus said the Language of the Prophets pertains to the New Testament Church
When Jesus "shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them (the disciples) for forty days, He was speaking of the things "pertaining to the kingdom of God." (Acts 1:3-4) This included opening their understanding of the "prophets" (Luke.24:44-45) because within the scriptures / language of the prophets is the "Mystery of God." (Rom.16:25-26) Their language consisted of the Tabernacle, the Priesthood, the Offerings, the Feast days, divers washing and ordinances. Haggai was prophesying concerning the last day Glorious Church without spot or wrinkle, the reality of what Solomon's Temple foreshadowed. (Eph.5:21-33) Peter said, "Of which salvation the prophets (Haggai) have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:(the Church) Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them (Haggai) did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. Unto whom (Haggai) it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they (Haggai) did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into." (1Peter 1:10-12) "But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets (Haggai) and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them." (Matt 13:16-18) Note: Eph.3:5 "Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east: And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory. And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face. And the glory of the Lord came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the Lord filled the House." (Ezek 43:1-5) Ezekiel was seeing a vision of the Glory of the Lord filling the House of God (the Lord's House [Isaiah] the latter house [Haggai] once again) Amos prophesied, "In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David (i.e. cloth hlt) that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the Lord that doeth this. (Amos 9:11-13) The Tabernacle of David (i.e. cloth hut) was where David received the pattern for the Temple, (1Chron.29:18) "the place" where Israel would be "planted and move no more." (1Chron.17:1-15, Deut.12:1-12) Amos is now, two centuries later prophesying that it would be built again! What was Amos signifying? (1Peter.1:10-12) The apostle James interprets the language of Amos (Acts.15:13-18, 2Peter.3:2, Eph.2:20-22) for us. James said Amos was foretelling the Jew and Gentile being brought together Christ. Notes;---------------------------------------------------------------------
1. The New Testament "witnessed by the Prophets
a. Paul wrote (Gal.1:11-12) that the law and the prophets (their language) bears
"witnesses" to our New Testament life in Christ (Rom.3:20-31)
b. The apostle Paul "expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them
concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till
evening." (Acts.28:23-31) Note: Acts.1:1-3, Luke.24:1-45
2. Paul interprets the Prophets language
As the "wise masterbuilder" (Architect 1Cor.3:10) Paul interprets the language of the
Prophets to be "types" and "shadows" that brings us to Christ, the Bridegroom.
a. The law (the language of the Prophets) is "our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that
we might be justified by faith." (Gal.3:24) Heb.9:1-26, Rom.16:25-26, Acts.28:23 /
Luke.24:1-45, Acts.1:3) Review: Phase 2, 4, Offerings.
b. Jesus said, "Think not that I am come to destroy...the (language of the) prophets: I
am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass,
one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." (Matt.5:17-19)
3. The apostle Peter
Peter wrote that the "Spirit of Christ which was in them (i.e. the prophets) did signify (using
the language of Tabernacle, the Priesthood, the Offerings, the Feast days, divers washing and
ordinances)...unto us (1Peter.1:10-12) The New Testament Church. These were the scriptures
that the Bereans search "daily" (Acts.17:11) "whether those things were so" that apostle Paul
spoke to them concerning Christ.
Today there is a language mixture in the Church.
We have become like those in Nehemiah's day who had through marriage, mixed with the inhabitants of the Land rather than remaining separate and defeating them. (Neh.13:23-24) They joined them! (Jam.4:1-4, 1John.2:16, Col.2:6-8, 1Cor.2:1-14) Much of the Church world today has become "joined" (1Cor.6:15-16) through "spiritual" adultery to the harlot system of this world.(Rev.17:1-5, James.4:1-4, 1John.2:16) and have produced a generation that cannot speak the language of the kingdom of God. This has resulted in a compromising and ineffective Church that has mixed with this world rather than being the "salt of this earth." (Matt.5:13-14) We have become like those in Nehemiah's day that spoke "half in the speech of Ashdod (i.e. The wisdom of this world 1Cor.1:20-29; 2:1-14) and could not speak in the Jews language."(The Word of God)
Note: It is "spiritual" adultery because we are "espoused" (i.e. engaged) to Christ, (2Cor.11:3) just as Mary was espoused to Joseph. (Matt.1:1-19) Joseph had the authority to put Mary away because this was considered "adultery," even though they were not married yet. (Deut.24:1) Jesus has this same power. (2Cor.11:3, Eph.5:21-33)
How do I apply the language of the Prophets to my everyday life in Christ Jesus
One:The application begins by determining when the Prophet was prophesying. Two: If it did not come pass during the time of the Prophet, then the next period of time to consider is from the time of the Prophet until the Babylonian captivity. Three: If it did not come to pass during this time, then the next period of time to consider is the Babylonian captivity. Four: If it did not come to pass during the Babylonian captivity, then the next period of time to consider is after the captivity through to the time of the Cross. Five: If the prophecy is still not fulfilled then the next period of time to consider is after the Cross until the Second Coming. This is where understanding the language becomes crucial, because when the Prophets Word comes through the Cross to find it's fulfillment, it must now be interpreted it's reality.

For example: Isaiah's prophecy concerning the "Lord's House"
Isaiah prophesied that " in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem." (Isa 2:2-3)

1. Did this happen during the time of Isaiah's prophecy?
This can be determined by reading Isa 1:1-2. "The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which
he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and
Hezekiah, kings of Judah." (Note: All the Prophets begin by identifying the time of their
prophecy, except for Joel, Obadiah, Jonah
and Malachi. These can be placed by their content)
a. During the days of Uzziah
The mountain of the Lord's
House did not see the
fulfillment of Isaiah's Word.
(2Chron.26:1-23)
b. During the days of Jotham
The mountain of the Lord's
House did not see the
fulfillment of Isaiah's Word.
(2Chron.27:1-9)
c. During the days of Ahaz
The mountain of the Lord's
House did not see the
fulfillment of Isaiah's Word.
(2Chron.28:1-27)
d. During the days of Hezekiah
He restores and cleanses the
House of the Lord. He proclaims
the Passover and destroys the
altars of idolatry. However all the
nations did not flow unto it,
(Isa.2:2) as it did when the
Temple / House of the Lord was
first dedicated. (1Kings.10:24.
2Chron.29-32:1-33)
In fact after Hezekiah,
Manasseh "did that which is evil
in the sight of the Lord" and built
back all the idolatrous altars
that Hezekiah had burned down.
(2Chron.33:1-4)
Therefore the fulfillment Isaiah's Word is still future to Isaiah because there is no
Biblical record of Isa.2:1-2 happening during the reign of these kings.
____________________________________________________________
The next period of time to consider is from Isaiah's time until the Babylonian Captivity.
2. Between Isaiah and the 70 Babylonian Captivity
Did Isaiah's Word come to pass between the time of Isaiah's prophecy and the seventy
year Babylonian captivity? The answer is, no! This is determined by reading Kings and
Chronicles concerning Manasseh. Amon, Josiah, Jehoahaz, Jehoiakim, Jehoiachin and
Zedekiah. (2Chron.33-36) These kings of Judah followed Hezekiah.

3. Next - The Babylonian Captivity
Did Isaiah's Word from God come to pass during the seventy year Babylonian captivity.
The answer is no because "all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the
treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes; all these
he (Nebuchadnezzar) brought to Babylon. And they burnt the house of God, and brake down
the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly
vessels thereof. (2 Chron 36:18-20) The nations were not flowing to Jerusalem during this
captivity and the Word of the Lord was not going forth out of Zion.
4. The next period of time to consider is after the captivity until the Cross.
The Biblical record for this is found in the Books of Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther and Daniel.
a. Daniel prophesied that after the seventy years of captivity that Jerusalem (the city and the
sanctuary) would be restored. (Dan.9:25)
b. Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther give the Biblical record of the restoration of the city of
Jerusalem and the sanctuary. It was to be a "landmark" that Israel could count from
until the revealing of the Messiah. However, under the leadership of Ezra and Nehemiah,
the "Lord's House" did not attain to what Isaiah (Isa.2:1-2) prophesied it would. In fact the
prophet Haggai said, "Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? (i.e.
Solomon's Temple) and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as
nothing? (Hag 2:3-4, Ezra.5:1) They did not attained to what Isaiah prophesied, and they
become "entangled" with the Nations rather than, the all Nation flowing unto them.
(Ezra.9:1-4; 10:1-17, Neh.13:1-31)
c. Daniel prophesies concerning the condition of the "Lord's House" is one of desolation
during the time between Ezra and Nehemiah and the Cross. (Dan.8:11-12; 11:31)
5. Now Isaiah's prophecy comes through the Cross.
Many "people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the
House of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out
of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. (Isa 2:3)
a. There has been no earthly (natural) Temple since it's destruction 70 A.D.
b. Therefore there has to be a rebuilt Temple (Lord's House) before the Second Coming for
people to come to and be taught of His ways. The reason for this is because it is a truth of
restoration that cannot go pass the Second Coming. (Acts.3:19-24, Rev.10:7)
When and where is that Temple, the Lord's House to be built?
c. The only House that God that is being built between the Cross and the Second Coming is the
Church of the living God. (Acts.7:47-48, 1Peter.2:5, Eph.2:20-22) Review: Phase 2, page 1
d. God never promised to restore the earthly Temple of Solomon. In fact the last word spoken to
the earthly Temple in Jerusalem was that it would be left desolate, (Matt.23:36) and that not
one stone would be left upon another. (Matt.24:1-4) Furthermore, God "rent the Vail in twain"
(two) to establish He was gone. (Matt.27:50-51) Note: Heb.9:1-11
Conclusion to Isa.2:1-2
Isaiah was prophesying the prophetic "type" of what happened at the dedication of Solomon's
Temple when "all the earth sought to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart." (1Kings.10:1, 24) The language that Isaiah is using is the language of the Pentateuch (Genesis through Deuteronomy) and the History Books. (Joshua through to Kings and Chronicles) to prophecy "unto us" (1Peter.1:10-12)

Note: Some may ask
How can Isaiah be prophesying about the last day Church when his word is "concerning Judah and Jerusalem?" (Isa.2:1) The answer is, after the Cross there is two Jerusalem's. There is the natural or earthly city of Jerusalem in the "last day" which is "spiritually called Sodom and Egypt" (Rev.11:8) Also interpreted to be "Ishmael. (Gal.4:25) There is the "heavenly Jerusalem," (Heb.12:18-22) which is "the general assembly and Church of the firstborn." Also interpreted as Isaac. (Gal.4:28)
Why would the Holy Spirit through Isaiah signify (1Peter.1:10-12) that "Sodom and Egypt" would be the Lord's House? Why would the Holy Spirit of God say that "all nations shall flow unto" Ishmael? Why would the Holy Spirit say through Isaiah say that God would he "teach us of his ways" and cause us to "walk in his paths" out of Ishmael / Sodom and Egypt?
The example of the Prophet Haggai
Haggai said, "The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts." (Hag 2:9-10) What is this "latter house?" (Our pattern begins with #4 The time of Haggai's prophecy)

1. Did this happen during the time of Haggai's prophecy?
Where was Haggai prophesying? He was prophesying during the time (#4) of the restoration
of Jerusalem (Dan.9:25) after the seventy year Babylonian captivity. (Haggai.1:1, Ezra.5:1)
However they never attained to what Haggai prophesied. (Haggai,2:3-9)
a. Judah, Benjamin and the Priests left the captivity and began to restore. (Ezra.1-2)
b. The foundation of House of God (the Lord's House Isa.2:2) was finished. (Ezra.6:15-22)
"And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the Lord; because he is
good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great
shout, when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was
laid. (Ezra 3:11-12)
c. Then came Haggai and prophesied, "Who is left among you that saw this house in her
first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?
(Hag 2:3-4)

2. Haggai and the 70 year captivity
Did Haggai's Word come to pass between the time of Haggai's prophecy and the seventy
year Babylonian captivity? The answer is no because he did not prophesy until after the captivity.
3. Next - The 70 year captivity
Did Haggai's Word from God come to pass during the seventy year Babylonian captivity.
The answer is no because he did not prophecy until after the Babylonian captivity.
(Haggai.1:1, Ezra.5:1)
4. The next period of time to consider is after the captivity until the Cross.
The Biblical record for this period of time is in the Books of Ezra and Nehemiah. There is no
scriptural evidence of a "latter house" being greater than the former. (i.e. Solomon's Temple)
And all the people shouted with a great
shout, when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was
laid. (Ezra 3:11-12)
c. The completion of the House of the Lord was hindered by the enemy and they stopped
building. (Ezra.4:1-24)
d. Haggai prophesied that they finish the House. (Ezra.5:1-2)
e. However they began to "mingle themselves with the people of those lands," (Ezra.9:1-2)
and began to intermarry. (Ezra.9-10)
f. The work of God stagnated and the walls still remained broken down, and the gates...burned
with fire." (Neh.1:1-3 Note: Dan.9:25 "the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in
troublous times.")
g. Now Nehemiah begins to lead and to build again the walls of Jerusalem. (Neh.2:1-20)
h. This work was hindered, yet Nehemiah finished the walls. (Neh.4:1-23)
i. Once again the people of God intermarried and held one another in debt. (Neh.5:1-19)
j. Nevertheless under Nehemiah's leadership "the wall was finished." (Neh.6:16)
k. Ezra the priests read "the book of the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused
them to understand the reading." (Neh.8:1-8, Note. v.8) This caused great joy! (Neh.8:10)
l. However they did not maintain this separation unto the Lord a "married wives of Ashdod, of
Amon and of Moab." (Neh.13:1-24)
The Book of Nehemiah ends without the House of God being "greater than the former
house" (Solomon's Temple) Now comes the period of the kingdom of Greece and the silent
period between the Old and New Testaments.
5. Now Haggai's prophecy comes through the Cross.
The only House that God after the Cross is the church of the living God. (Acts.7:448, 1Peter.2:5,
Eph.2:20-22) Review: Phase 2, page 1 God never promised to restore the earthly Temple of
Solomon. In fact the last word spoken to the earthly Temple in Jerusalem was that it would be left
desolate, (Matt.23:36) and that not one stone would be left upon another. (Matt.24:14)
Furthermore, God "rent the Vail in twain" (two) to establish He was gone. (Matt.27:50-51) Note:
Heb.9:1-11
Conclusion to Haggai.2:9

To summarize Haggai and Isaiah
Haggai prophesied that the "glory" (i.e. God's presence, everything that He is) of the "latter house" (The Church Eph.5:21-33) will be greater than the "former" house. (Solomon's Temple 2Chron.5:1-14, 1Kings.10:1, 24) Paul spoke of the Church (Temple, Lord's House) being a "Glorious (a Glory filled) Church" (Eph.5:21-33) to be presented to Christ (the last Adam 1Cor.15:45) as His Bride, as Eve (2Cor.11:3) was the to the first Adam. (Eph.5:21-33) This will bring us back to where the first Adam and Eve fell from.
.
(Review: Phase 2, pages 1- 4 for explanation of why the "latter house" foreshadows the Bride of Christ)
Isaiah prophesied that "all nations shall flow unto" this same Glorious, Glory filled, "latter house" (The Church) and "say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem." (Isa 2:2-3)
1. The type of Solomon's Temple
When Solomon's Temple was finished and dedicated (2Chron.5:1-14) "the fame of Solomon
concerning the name of the Lord" (1Kings.10:1) spread, and "all the earth sought to Solomon to
hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart. (1Kings.10:24) Think of the animals coming to
Noah's Ark. (Gen.6:14--22; 7:1-24, Matt.24:36-37)
2. The Gospel must go to all nations
This is the Gospel of the kingdom being preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations."
(Matt.24:14)
Remember: This has to happen BEFORE the Second Coming (Acts.3:19-24,
Rev.10:7) because Jesus will not return until the prophecies of Haggai (Haggai.2:9) and
Isaiah (Isa.2:1-2) have been fulfilled because it is a truth of restoration.
Another point to consider is that these prophetic Words will not be fulfilled during the
tribulation. (Rev.13:1-18, Dan.7:25, Rev.17:1-6) Therefore, what Haggai and Isaiah are
prophesying must take place between were we are today and the beginning of the tribulation!
The example of the Prophet Ezekiel

1. Did this happen during the time of Ezekiel's prophecy?
The answer is no! because Ezekiel was prophesying during the reign of Jehoiachin (Ezek 1:1-
3) when the House of Judah was in the process of being taken over by the Babylonian Empire
(2Chron.36:1-23) There was no Glory that filled house during this time. The House of God was
about to be burnt and the walls broken down. (2Chron.36:19) Note: (Ezekiel.10:18) Ezekiel had
already seen the "glory of the Lord depart from off the the threshold
."
2. Did Ezekiel's Word come
to pass between the time of
Ezekiel's prophecy and the
seventy year Babylonian
captivity?
The answer is no, because Ezekiel
was prophesying as Judah was
entering into captivity leaving no
place for a Glory filled Temple.
(2Chron.36:1-23)
3. Did Ezekiel's Word from
God come to pass during the
seventy year Babylonian
captivity?
The answer is no because their was
no Temple for the Glory of God to
fill. It had been destroyed.
(2Chron.36:1-21)
4. The next period of time to
consider is after the captivity
until the Cross?
There is no scriptural evidence
of a "Glory filled House of God"
(Ezra - Neh.)
a. Judah, Benjamin and the Priests
had left the Babylonian captivity
and began to restore Jerusalem
(Ezra.1-2)
b. The foundation of House of God
(the Lord's House Isa.2:2) was
finished. (Ezra.6:15-22) Then "they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto
the Lord; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people
shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord."(Ezra 3:11-12)
c. The completion of the House of the Lord was hindered by the enemy and they stopped
building. (Ezra.4:1-24)
d. Haggai prophesied (Ezra.5:1-2) and they finish the House.
e. However they began to "mingle themselves with the people of those lands," (Ezra.9:1-2) and
began to intermarry. (Ezra.9-10)
f . The work of God stagnated and the walls still remained broken down, and the
gates...burned with fire." (Neh.1:1-3 Note: Dan.9:25 "the street shall be built again, and the
wall, even in troublous times.")
The Book of Nehemiah ends without the House of God being "greater than the former
house." (Solomon's Temple) Then comes the kingdom of Greece and the silent period
between the Old and New Testaments.
5. Now Ezekiel's prophecy comes through the Cross.
After the Cross, the only House of God is the Church of the Living God. (Acts.7:448, 1Peter.2:5,
Eph.2:20-22) Review: Phase 2, page 1 In fact God never promised to restore the earthly
Temple of Solomon. The last word spoken to the earthly Temple in Jerusalem was that it would
be left desolate, (Matt.23:36) and that not one stone would be left upon another. (Matt.24:14)
Furthermore, God "rent the vail in twain" (two) to establish He was gone. (Matt.27:50-51) Note:
Heb.9:1-11

a. What about the Temple in Revelation eleven?
This Temple is the Church (Eph.2:20-22, 1Peter.2:5) that will be measured (Eph.4:11-
16) before the two witnesses Moses and Elijah confirm the remainder of the Covenant to
Daniel's people, the Jews. (Note: Eze.40-41)
(1) Remember: There is no Temple. It was destroyed 70 AD.
(2) There is no scripture that says it will be built again. The only building / Temple that
the apostles wrote about is The Church. (John.2:18-20, Acts.7:47-48, 1Cor.6:19,
Eph.2:20-22, 1Peter.2:5)

b. Some place Ezekiel's Temple in the Millennium. (i.e. The 1000 year rest)
The reason why this is incorrect is because what Ezekiel was seeing was a restoration of the
Temple, making this a prophecy of restoration. (2Chron.36:1-21) This must happen before
Jesus can return. The apostle Peter declared that "the heaven must receive (retain, hold
Jesus) until the times of restitution (restoration) of all things, which God hath spoken by the
mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began (Acts 3:21, Rev.10:7;11:15)
This is why Jesus has not returned yet! This is why there has been 2,000 years since
Jesus promised to return. The prophecies of Haggai, Isaiah, and Ezekiel have not been
fulfilled yet.
This has not been a long time! It has only been 6 days before the Lord. (2Peter.3:1-9,
Psa.90:4) (Review Phase 3 for explanation of chart below)

Conclusion to Ezekiel.43:1-5
The "Spirit of Christ which was in" Ezekiel was signifying (1Peter.1:10-12) of "a Glory (filled Temple Eph.2:20-22; 5:27, Rom.8:8:18) that should follow" after the Cross. (Matt.16:18, John.2:18-20, Eph.2:20-22 / Gal.11-12, 1Peter.2:5) "It was revealed...(to Ezekiel and the other prophets Matt.13:17)...that not unto themselves, but unto us (The Church) they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into." (1Peter 1:11-13)
Note the language that Ezekiel is using to speak to us. It is the language of the Law. (Eze.44:15-16, Exodus.28) Leviticus,(Lev.1-5) Numbers, (Eze.42:13, Num.1:47-54) Deuteronomy (Eze.43:1-27, Deut.12:1-12) Chronicles (2Chron.5:1-14)

The example of the Prophet Amos
(Acts.15:13-18, Eph.2:1-22) Review: Phase 2, page.1 "What is the Tabernacle of David."
To confirm this, look at he pattern

1. Did this happen during the time of the prophecy of Amos?
The answer is, no! Amos was prophesying during "the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the
days of Jeroboam the son of Joash (Jehoash 2Kings.13:8-10) king of Israel, two years before
the earthquake." (Amos 1:1-2) Joash (Jehoash continued in the sins of Jeroboam, the first king
of the House of Israel. (1Kings.12:25-33,
2Kings.18-23)
a. They had a counterfeit House
(Temple, Sanctuary) (1Kings.12:26-
33) Jerusalem was the place to worship.
(Deut.12:1-12, 1Chron.17:1-15,
1Chron.22:1-22) Samaria became the place
(1Kings.13:22, 16:24, 29) Note: The woman
at the well. John.4:20-24
b. They had a counterfeit Priesthood.
(1Kings.12:31, 2Chron.11:14)
c. They House of Israel had counterfeit
offerings. (Amos.5:2123)
d. The had counterfeit Worship.
They "invented to themselves instruments
of music, like David."(Amos.6:5)
2. Amos to the Captivity
Did the prophecy of Amos come to pass
between the time of The Word that God gave
Amos and the seventy year Babylonian captivity?
The answer is no, because Amos was
prophesying to the House of Israel (Amos.1:1)
which was soon to be removed out of God's sight
into Assyrian captivity. (2Kings.17:18-23) From
Uzziah, king of Judah until the seventy year
captivity there is no evidence of the Tabernacle
of David being built again. (2Chron.26-36)
3. During the seventy year Babylonian captivity?
The answer is no because David prophesied, "By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea,
we wept, when we remembered Zion. We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst
thereof. For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted
us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. How shall we sing the Lord's
song in a strange land? (Ps 137:1-4) There was no song, no Tabernacle of David, no Temple,
no Glory filled Temple.. It had been all destroyed. (2Chron.36:1-21) Note: The Book
of Lamentations speaks to this time.
4. Did the Prophecy of Amos come to pass after the seventy year captivity?
There is no scriptural evidence of David's Tabernacle (i.e. Cloth Hut) being built again.
(Ezra.1-10, Nehemiah.1-13)
a. Judah, Benjamin and the Priests had left the Babylonian captivity and began to restore
Jerusalem. (Ezra.1-2)
b. The foundation of House of God (the Lord's House Isa.2:2) was finished. (Ezra.6:15-22)
Then "they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the Lord; because he
is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a
great shout, when they praised the Lord."(Ezra 3:11-12)
Note: The pattern Tabernacle of David (1Chron.29:11, 19) was incorporated into the
Temple worship. The Ark of the Covenant had moved out of the Tabernacle (i.e. cloth hut /
tent) of David. (2Chron.5:1-5;11-14; 8:14, 2Chron.23:18; 29:25-27; 35:15, Ezra.3:10,
Neh.12:34-36, 45-46) and moved into Solomon's Temple. They did not go backwards
and pitch a tent (Tabernacle, cloth hut) as David did.(Review: Phase 2, page 1) and Neither
was the Spirit of God, that was speaking by the mouth of Amos (1Peter.1:10-12)
There was a time in the future that this Word was to be fulfilled.
c. The completion of the House of the Lord was hindered by the enemy and they stopped
building. (Ezra.4:1-24)
d. Haggai prophesied (Ezra.5:1-2) and they finish the House.
e. However they began to "mingle themselves with the people of those lands," (Ezra.9:1-2) and
began the intermarry. (Ezra.9-10)
f. The work of God stagnated and the walls still remained broken down, and the
gates...burned with fire." (Neh.1:1-3 Note: Dan.9:25 "the street shall be built again, and the
wall, even in troublous times.")
The Book of Nehemiah ends without the House of God being "greater than the former
house." (Solomon's Temple) Then comes the kingdom of Greece and the silent period
between the Old and New Testaments.
5. Now the prophecy of Amos comes through the Cross.
It is important to understand that when a Word from the Prophets comes in the New Testament
it must come through the Cross, not around the Cross. For example the "Pharisees which
believed" were going around the Cross instead of through the Cross into it's reality, when they
insisted that the Gentiles who believed should be circumcised and keep the law of Moses in
order to be fully saved. (Acts.15:5-10) What they failed to understand that "circumcision" is
still required in it's reality. (fulfillment in our Water Baptism. Col.2:10-12, Rom.8:28-29,
Matt.28:19, Acts.2:38-39; 8:16; 9:18; 10:44-46; 19:1-6)
