The Most Holy Most, the Holiest, the Holiest of all
The Most Holy Place was a room, 10 cubits wide,10 cubits high and 10 cubits high. This is where the presence of God dwelt, between the two cherubims above the mercy seat, which was upon the Ark of the Covenant. This was where God said He would "meet with " Moses "and communed with him "from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things" which God gave in "commandment unto the children of Israel." (Exod.25:10-22)
1. The Ark of the Covenant is a shadow of the throne of God. (Heb.9:24)
For "Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, (Lev.16:1-34) which are the figures (i.e. types,
shadows, model)1 of the true; (Heb.8:1-5) but into heaven itself, now the appear in the presence of God for us."
(Heb.3:1; 9:7; 8:1;12:2)
.
2. The Mercy Seat foreshadows Christ.
The apostle John said that Christ "is the propitiation (i.e. The Mercy Seat)2 for our sins" (Rom.3:25, 1John.2:2) On
the day of atonement the high priest was to sprinkle the blood with his finger seven times upon the Ark to make
a atonement for the sins of the people. (Lev.16:14-16) This was "a figure for the time then present" (Heb.9:9) until
the time of reformation.(i.e. until the time that Christ came)3 When Jesus came He fulfilled (completed) the pattern
of the high priest "once for all." (Heb.10:1-10)
Jesus did not destroy this pattern because it is a example of "heaven
itself." (Matt.5:17-19, Heb.9:24)
This pattern explains to us what Jesus is doing NOW! (Heb.2:17-18; 3:1; 4:14-16; 7:24-28; 9:1-26, 10:1-10) Without
this pattern, all we have is our vain (hopeless, futile, useless, worthless) imaginations! (2Cor.10:5, Gen.6:5 /
Luke.17:26-27)
3. Inside the Ark were judgments against Israel.
Inside the Ark of the Covenant was the Golden pot of manna, (Num.11:1-23) Aaron's rod that budded
(Num.17:1-13) and the two tables of stone. (Exod.19-40, Heb.9:4) The only thing that protected them from the
wrath of God was the blood stained mercy seat. Today, the only one that stands between us and the wrath of God,
(John.3:36, Psa.7:11) is Christ our "propitiation." (1John.2:2, Rom.3:25) our mercy seat.
4. God's voice was heard from above the Mercy seat
This is a pattern of "heaven itself." (Heb.8:1-5; 9:24) God's voice today is only heard through our Mercy Seat, The
Lord Jesus Christ. (1Tim.2:5, John.14:6, 2Tim.2:13) There are "many kinds of voices in the world,"(1Cor.14:10) but
God's voice is only heard through Jesus. Any other voice is "another Jesus."4 (2Cor.11:1-7)
a. Jesus (our mercy seat) is to be "preeminent"
(1) Jesus, the head of the Church
Jesus "is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things
he might have the preeminence." (Col.1:18)
(2) The Father God seal of approval
"And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well
pleased. (Matt.3:17)
(3) God has spoken by His Son, preeminent
God, "who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by
the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed
heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds." (Heb.1:1-2)
b. Any voice that denies Christ's Deity is "another Jesus."
(1) Any voice that Jesus was God manifest in the flesh) is not God's voice. (1John.4:1-5,
1Tim.3:15-16, John.5:17-18; 17:5, Isa.42:8, John.1:1, Heb.1:2)
(2) This why Phase 1 is important because in the "last days" there are many voices /
(i.e. Modern today Bible translations that are saying "Yea hath God said...") 6
c. Any voice that denies redemption in Christ's blood is not God's voice.
(1) Jesus is our "mercy seat." (Matt.26:28, Acts.20:28, Rom.3:25 ["propitiation"- Mercy
Seat 5], Rom.5:9, Eph.1:7; 2:13, Col.1:14, Heb.9:22, Lev.17:11)
(2) There "remaineth no more sacrifice for sins." (Heb.10:26-29) Jesus caused "the (Old
Testament) sacrifice and the oblation (offerings) to cease." (Dan.9:27, Heb.10:1-10)

5. Note: The Chart opposite
The Most Holy Place and Solomon's Temple parallel each other in
the blueprint.
a. No Church history
There is no Church history to parallel the Most Holy Place with
because the Church is still coming to the completion (or "perfection"-
Eph.4:11-16) of the pattern. (Review: The Building code for the Church)
b. Aaron is a prophetic picture
The only time Aaron went into the Most Holy was on "the day"
(Heb.10:25) of atonement. This was once a year. (Heb.9:7) After this
feast in the seventh month, the Church in the wilderness began over
again with the Feast of Passover in the first month. (Lev.23:1-44)
It is established that the Spirit of God is committed to completing
(i.e. perfecting - Eph.4:13) the pattern and will not be repeating it
because there is no more time left in God's Redemptive Week.
Note: Chart below

"Therefore let us not sleep as do others; but let us watch and be sober." (1Thes.5:6)
6. The day of Atonement is in the Feast of Tabernacles.
There were three Feast times in the year "the Church in the wilderness" had to appear before the Lord. The Feast
of Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles. This feast (Tabernacles) was at "the end of the year." (Exod.23:14-16) It
was the end (the completion, perfecting) of the pattern. (Deut.16:16, Lev.23:1-44) (Review: Phase 11 ) This parallels
Solomon's Temple because it was dedicated in the feast that was in the seventh month. Tabernacles. (2Chron.5:3)
The end of the pattern, the end of Israel's journey

The Day of atonement was a day when "the Church in the wilderness" stood completely
clean of all sin for the entire year. It was a day when the
Sanctuary was cleansed
because of the collective sin of the Nation of Israel.
There is no doubt that the Church has sin in it. (i.e. spots, wrinkles and blemishes, (Eph.5:26-27)
and it needs to be cleansed.
"Why does the Church need to be cleansed?"
Answer:
Christ cannot take a Bride that has sin
in it, because He would be unequally yoked. (2Cor.6:14-18)
a. This will not happen in the Twinkling of an eye
Some believe this will be taken care of in "the twinkling of an eye." (1Cor.15:51-52) The "twinkling of an
eye" is only speaking of our "mortal bodies" being changed to "immortality." It is not speaking of our spiritual
stature.(1Cor.15:1-55) It is the responsibility of the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher (Eph.4:11-16)
to mature the Church into "a glorious church not having spot, or
wrinkle, or any such thing but that it should be holy and without
blemish." (Eph.5:25-27 i.e. Ready to be The Bride, The Last Eve
- 2Cor.11:3, Eph.5:21-34)
b. The day of atonement was a National day of unity
On this day (Heb.10:25) "the church in the wilderness" (Acts.7:38) "gathered
themselves together as one man" (Neh.8:1-2) as the high priest went into
the Most Holy (Lev.16:16, Luke.1:5-10) to make "atonement" (Lev.16:30) for
"the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and
because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the
tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of
their uncleanness." (Lev.16:16)
c. The writer of Hebrews writes of "the day approaching"
"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, (Neh.8:1-2, Eph.4:3) as
the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as
ye see the day approaching." (Heb.10:25) Note: Rehoboam forsook the
assembly in the seventh month by created his own feast day, that appealed
to everyone's "convenience!" (1Kings.11:1-2, 9-13, 26-40; 12:1-33)
Watch (1Thes.5:1-9, 2Thes.2:1-9) for this is these "perilous times" ahead of
the Church.
(1) The context of Book of Hebrews is the Day of atonement. ("the day")
(a) Jesus is to be Preeminent. (Heb.1:1-14)
(b) Jesus alone represents us before God
as the fulfillment of what Aaron foreshadowed in the Levitical priesthood. (Heb.2:1-18; 4:14-16; 7:1-28;
8:1-5; 9:1-26; 10:1-10)
d. The reality of the day of atonement
"Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the
measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ." (Eph.4:13, 1Cor.13:9-12)
The Prophetic measurements of the Tabernacle
Keep in mind, that Jesus fulfilled every "jot"7 and "title"8 of the Tabernacle. He did not destroy any of it! (Matt.5:17-19) They continue in their reality9 in Christ. (Gal.3:24) This means that these "jots" and "titles" continue on in the New Testament Church because Christ is the head of the Church which is His Body. (Eph.1:22-23, Col.1:17-18, 1Cor.12:1-31)(Review: The Building Code for the Church)
1. The area of the Holy Place was a total of 2000 cubits.
It was 20 cubits long x 10 cubits high x 10 cubits wide which equals 2,000 cubits. This parallels the 5th. and 6th.
day of God's Redemptive Week.
a. Holy place had the candlestick
This was where the Candlestick was placed was
foreshadows the Church with the anointing of God
continually in it.
b. The Table of Shewbread
This foreshadows the communion and fellowship of the
saints until He comes. (1Cor.11:26)
c. The Golden Altar of Incense
This foreshadows our Worship, Prayer and Praise. (Psa.141:2, Rev.8:1-4)
(click here for explanation of the seven days)
.
2. The Most Holy Place was at total of 1000 Cubits.
It was 10 cubits wide, 10 cubits high and 10 cubits long. This parallels the 1000 years rest after Jesus returns.
(i.e. The Millennium)
3. Where are these dimensions in scripture?
These dimensions are concluded from the length, breadth and number of boards found in the Tabernacle. Then the
placement of the vail is determined by the coverings that overlaid the boards of the Tabernacle.
.
4. The Outer court was a total of 1500 Cubits
The lenght of the Outer Court fence was "one hundred (100) cubits long for the south side and a 100 cubits long for
the west) side:" (Exod.27:9) The breadth of the court on the west was 50 cubits and 50 cubits for the East side.
(Exod.27:13) The height was five (5) cubits. (Exod.27:18) When multiplying these numbers it comes to 1500 cubits.
(i.e. Total lenght 300 cu. x height of 5 cu.=1500)
To be continued "For we know in part......" (1Cor.13:9-12, John.16:12-15, 1Cor.2:1-14)
Now to Phase 5

(Isa.14:11-14) Satan's man of sin will shew "himself that he is God."(2Thes.2:4) Today the "revisionist" have redefined the word "Jesus" to mean what they want it to be. They turned "the grace of our God into lasciviousness...denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ."(Jude.1:4) They are bringing into the Church "damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them." The "seed of the woman" will bruise the serpents head. However the serpent will bruise his heel.
