Passover is the first of three set feasts that the "Church in the wilderness" every year. The New
Testament writer's, under the inspiration of God, interpreted these Feast days (Holy days) to be
a "shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ." (Col.2:16-17) i.e. The substance, the real,
the essence, the one foreshadowed is Christ. Paul wrote, "Christ our passover is sacrificed for
us." (1Cor.5:7-8) The application of the shed blood of the Passover Lamb was the foundation of
Israel's journey from Egypt into the Land promised to Abraham. The same is true for our Christian
walk today. We cannot be in the Bride of Christ without Redemption in Christ's shed blood.
