A warning to the Church! Don't be "beguilded" as Eve was.

                             .

"So your (the Church) minds should be corrupted"
False ministries (tares amongst the wheat Matt.13:24-30, 36-43) were corrupting and polluting the Word of God in
the Corinthian Church. The apostle Paul writes, "For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ." (2Cor.2:17) Peter writes that they are "unlearned and unstable," he said that theywrest" (torture / twist) "the scriptures, unto their own destruction." He continues, "
therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness." (2Peter.3:16-17)  This corruption was preaching another Jesus another spirit, and another gospel whom Paul had not preached. (2Cor.11:1-15)

1. This is the serpents purpose. To look like what he wants to destroy!

Lucifer (Satan, Devil, that old serpent, the great red dragon -
Isa.11:11-14, Rev.12:9) is a created being, he is not a
creator! This is why he counterfeits! The Lord Jesus Christ is the creator.
(Col.1:16-18, John.1:1-14; 17:5, Isa.42:8,
      Heb.1:1-2)
The Devil has to counterfeit the things of God to appear to be genuine!
      a.  Lucifer's counterfeit
Lucifer's pattern of operation is to be "be like the most High."

              (Isa.11:23-14)
       b. Lucifer's counterfeit

Lucifer's pattern of operation is to be "as" a roaring lion."
             (1Peter.5:8)
The devil is not a lion. Jesus is The only Lion.
"The Lion of the tribe of Judah."
(Rev.5:5)

c. Lucifer's counterfeit
Is to be "as" ministers of  righteousness. (2Cor.11:15) They are
           not
ministers of righteousness, yet they appear to be.
     d. Lucifer's counterfeit

Lucifer's pattern of operation is to be "as" a angel of light."
             (2Cor.11:14)
Satan is not a angel of light.
     e. Lucifer's counterfeit
Lucifer's man of sin (antichrist) will sit in the Temple of God "as"
           God.
(2Thes.2:4) The antichrist is not God but he has to present            himself as God to appear to legitimate! (genuine, valid)
     f.  Lucifer's counterfeit
Lucifer wants to reconciling the world unto  himself, as a
counterfeit high priest. Counterfeiting Christ our High Priest.

(2Cor.5:19-21, Rev.13:1-18)
           (1)  Already working
This "mystery of iniquity" is "already working!
(2Thes.2:7) The "spirit of antichrist" is "now already...in
                  the world!"

(1John.4:1-3)

(2)  Already has counterfeit ambassadors
Lucifer already has his counterfeit "ambassadors" (Theologians, Scholars, Professors of Religion and
Bible Editorial Committees) beseeching us (The Church /  Eve) through their
footnotes and changes
                  in our
modern day translations to "subtily" lure us back to him. (Review: Phase one)

(Click here for explanation of the new root of our modern translations)

This is why Paul says, "let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep
sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night." (1Thes.5:6) Deception is coming before
                                          the Second Coming!
(2Thes.2:5)

2. These false "ambassadors" have redefined / revised Jesus
One example is: When these false ambassador's and ministers of righteousness use the name of Jesus, they
      mean that Jesus is
Mary's son and that Joseph was the father of Jesus.
      a. God's Word says, Jesus is Mary's firstborn son. (Matt.1:25)
They say, "Yea hath God said" firstborn? They say that the most reliable, faithful Greek text says that Jesus was
           Mary's son.
(This is "another Jesus"- 2Cor.11:1-4)
           (1)  Mary's son?????
                  Note:
If Jesus was only Mary's son then, the door of doubt is left opened to question if Mary was a virgin?
This would lead to the question, "perhaps Jesus is not her firstborn?"
           (2)  If this were true
                T
hen Christ would not be Deity and "your faith is vain" and you would be "yet in your sins." (1Cor.15:1-58,
                     Note:v.17)
This would mean we all will be going the Hell! This is the bottom line!  This is what Satan wants!

                  Note: These "
false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ"
(ambassadors) of Lucifer are not respresenting the "heavenly country. (2Cor.11:13-16, Heb.11:16)

      b. God's Word says, Jesus is God's Son. (John.5:17-18, Phil.2:5-22)
Joseph was not the father of Jesus! It was the Jews that called Jesus "the son of Joseph."
(John.6:42) If Jesus
was the son of Joseph, then He would not be sinless and His shed blood  could not redeem us. (Rom.5:12-21)
              Review: Being Born Again

The serpent manipulated Eve into the first revision!
Now "the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. (Added / revision. Compare Gen.2:16-17 with Gen.3:1-4) And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." (Gen 3:1-5)

This is why Paul wrote, "
I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." (2Cor.11:3)

How did the serpent do it?
1.
By talking to Eve alone!

There was not "headship." Adam was not in conversation!
Now "the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the
field which the Lord God had made." The serpent knew
God's order (John.8:44) and quickly took the "advantage
       (2Cor.21)
that was presented to him. And he said unto the  woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall  not eat of every
tree of the garden?(Gen.3:1-21) Adam was not there!
     a. The first Adam was not present.
No headship! (Eph.5:21-33) Eve was acting on her own. She was"usurping" her authority. (2Tim.2:11-12) This
lead to a revision! Paul says the woman needs power (authority, headship) on her head because of  the
          angels. (1Cor.11:1-15)
b.The "last Adam" is present if we allow Him to be!
Towards the end of the end of the 1st.Century (after the death of John) they (the Church / Eve) forsook the
headship of Christ and became "ignorant" of Satan's (lucifer, serpent, Devil) devices. (2Cor.2:11, Isa.5:13) This
          lead to being
spoiled "through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the
          world, and not after Christ."
(Col.2:8)  This lead to the forsaking of truth and the corruption of Manuscripts that
are the foundation responsible for all our modern Bibles since
1881 AD.(Review: Phase one)

1. By no headship. This lead to Eve's "mind" being corrupted!
Paul wrote, "I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should
be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ."
(2Cor.11:3) The mind is the battleground. Be "not conformed
to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
(
Rom.12:2-3, 2Cor.10:5, Phil.2:5; 4:8) God has created us spirit, soul and
      body.
(1Thes.5:23) Our spirit was saved, born again, redeemed when we received Christ. Our soul (our mind, will
and emotions) is being transformed. (Rom.12:1-2) This is where the conflict is happened. This is where the serpent
      centered on with Eve!
This is where he is still centering in the Church! Our body is quickened by the Holy Spirit, and
will put on immortality when Jesus returns.
(1Cor.15:51-52)

a. The woman saw that the tree was good for food. (Gen.3:6)

With no headship, Eve's reasoning (mind) took preeminence (took first place) over God's Word. God's Word says
to cast "down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing
into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ."
(2Cor.10:5-6)
          (1)  Food

When "the woman saw that the tree
was good for food. (Gen.3:6) This is the "lust of the
                flesh."
(1John.2:16, James.4:1-4)
          (2)  Pleasant to the eyes
                T
hat it was pleasant to the eyes. (Gen.3:6) This is the "lust of the eyes." (1John.2:26, James.4:1-4)

(3)  To make one wise
                A
tree to be desired to make one wise. (Gen.3:6) This is "the pride of life." (1John.2:16,  James.4:1-4)

Note: Eve's revision and doubt provided by the serpent caused her to take of the fruit thereof.
The serpent did not take the fruit of the tree, however he provoked it. (Eve was manipulated)
                and did eat, and
gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat." (Gen.3:6-7)

     b. The 1st.Century Church (Eve) saw that man's wisdom was good.
Like Samson, they "turned aside to see"
(Judges.13:8) the wisdom of men after the death of John which lead to
deception. When they "turned aside," they became "ignorant " of  Satan's devices
(2Cor.2:11, Isa.5:13) and was
spoiled "through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not
          after Christ."
(Col.2:8) This began a spiritual decline in the Church that ended in the "dark ages."  The Word of
          God had now been "choked"
(Matt.13:22) out because the Church has been "entangled" (2Tim.2:4)
with this world. (Review: Phase 12 for explanation of Rev.12 Woman)

3. Today, "the last Adam" is present and we (the last Eve) are not alone!
      Jesus is our head
! (Eph.5:21-33) Let His Word do the talking! When Jesus talked to the Devil (serpent) He quoted
God's Word, (Matt.4:4, 7, 10) leaving us an example that we should follow in His steps. (1Peter.2:21)
      a.
That is why Paul writes...
          "M
y speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, (to make one wise - Gen.3:6,
            1John.2:16, James.4:1-4
) but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
That your faith should not stand in
the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. (1Cor.2:4-7)
          (1)  Christ crucified is the wisdom and power of God.

The apostle said, "
For Christ (The head of the Church) sent me...to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of
words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
For the preaching of the cross is to them
that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God."
 (
1Cor.1:17-19)

(2)  What is "Christ crucified?"

Christ crucified is
the death, (Matt.27:33-54, Rom.5:1-21) burial (Matt.27:54-66) and bodily resurrection
                   (John.20:1-18, Acts.1:1-4, Luke.24:36-43,
1Cor.15:1-58) of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is what the serpent
does not want preached. This is why he has provoked the Church (Eve) to revise and change (and delete)
these truths from God's word to create doubt with these footnotes. (Review: Phase One)

Those that promote these footnotes, do not have Christ as the head. They are acting alone
                                                                  like the Church at Laodicea!

    b.  The moment we think we can say it better than God we will deceived!
If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which
God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever
          and ever."
(1Peter.4:11)

Note: As soon as we do the talking (i.e. our wisdom, education,  our degree's, our opinion - Phil.3:1-8) we will
go into deception as Eve did.

Remain subject unto the headship of Christ our Bridegroom!

As of this moment, we are "espoused"1 (engaged) to Christ. (2Cor.11:1-3) Being "espoused" in the Biblical sense it is the same as marriage, except we have not come together as man and wife. This is why Joseph had the power to put Mary away when he thought she had being unfaithful. (Matt.1:18-25, Deut.24:1 / Matt.5:17-19) Jesus has this same power! He can put us away for our unfathfullness to Him with our "frendship" with this world. (i.e. The lust of the flesh, of the eyes and the pride of life - 1John.2:16, James.4:1-4)

1. How are we to be "subject unto Christ" our head?

It is quite simple. The word "subject" means to be "subordinate" to be secondary to Christ. (Col.1:18) It is no
longer me, myself and I. It is "
He must increase, but I must decrease." (John.3:30)

2. The Laodicea Church was not subject unto Christ
This is a prophetic picture of what will take place in the last days. Parts of the Church world will shut out Christ from
being the head. They will be their own head! They will say, "I am rich, and increased with goods, and I have need of
nothing! (They were saying, I don't need Jesus, and His Deity, Virgin Birth and His bodily resurrection)
     a. They were "wretched" (Rev.3:17)
Paul says, describing our life after the Law exposed our sin. "
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me
from the body of this death?
(
Rom.7:24-25) His answer was,"I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord."
            (Rom.7:25)
Without Christ you are "wretched!"
     b. They were "miserable" (Rev.3:17)
          I
f "Christ be not raised, (bodily) your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep
          in Christ are perished.
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable." (1Cor.15:17-20)
Without the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ we are "miserable!" Without the bodily resurrection of
Christ, we are go to hell!

     c. They were "poor" (Rev.3:17)
Poor spritiually. They had not "prospered" spiritually (3John.1:2) because they had shut out Christ out. (i.e.
          His
Deity, virgin Birth, and Bodily Resurrection.

     d. They were "blind" (Rev.3:17)

Peter writes, "
giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance;
          and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly
          kindness charity.
For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor
unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar
off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins."
(2Peter.1:5-10) Their spiritual eyes (i.e. Their
          understanding in God's Word - Eph.1:18)
was "dim" like that of Isaac's
(Gen.27:1) and were deceived!
(Review: "I measure up by having a proper future vision" - Conclusion, Page.5)

     e. They were "naked" (Rev.3:17)
There "fig leaf" doctrines were a miserable failure before the Lord, just as they were for the first Adam and his
wife Eve. (Rev.3:17, Gen.3:1-10, Heb.4:12-13) Adam and Eve were naked "and were not ashamed." (Gen.2:25)
          However, w
hen sin entered in their eyes were opened and there was shame. (Gen.3:7, 11) Therefore they
"shewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons." Nakedness is our exposed sin! (Heb.4:12-13)

Note: These are the fruit (or the evidence) of no headship of Christ. That we are standing alone!

      f. The solution for the Laodicean Church

This is the same solution for those in the Church that have moved out from under the authority and headship
           of Christ. (Eph.1:22-23, Col.1:18, Eph.5:21-33)
           (1) Buy gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich.

Peter wrote, "
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it
be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ."

                     (
1Peter.1:7-8) The first principle of the doctrine of Christ is "repentance from dead works (fig leaves), and
of faith toward God." (Heb.6:1) The first step for the Laodicean Church is to be "justified by faith," (Rom.1:17)
faith in the virgin birth, Deity, and bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. (R
om.10:9)
          (2)  Buy white raiment
They next step. Buy "white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness
do not appear." (Rev.3:17) White raiment is a type (model, shadow, blueprint) of righteousness. (Rev.19:8)
The Levitical Priesthood had to have "linen breeches (righteousness 2Cor.5:21) to cover their nakedness,"
                    (Exod.28:39-43)
foreshadowing the New Testament reality of the Priesthood of the Church today.

                    (1Peter.2:5-9, Rev.1:6; 5:10)
                    (a) Faith

The Laodicean Church had to have faith in Christ's redeeming blood
                 (b) Righteousness
Then they had to "put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness  (Linen clean and
                        white raiment)
         (3)  Anoint thine eyes

"Anointing," is being filled with the Spirit of God. (Acts.10:38, Heb.1:9) The Priests (1Peter.2:5,9) were
anointed into service at the age of
30. (Note: Luke.3:23, Matt.5:17-19) This was after they had covered "their
                 nakedness" with th
e "linen breeches." (Exod.28:39-4ness," The anointing was so they could see, "spiritual."
                    (1Cor.2:1-14, John.16:12-13)

Conclusion
The Church (like Eve) stepped out from the covering headship of the Lord Jesus Christ. (The "last Adam) Instead letting Jesus fulfill His responsibility as the head of the Church, they (the Church / Eve) did all the talking, (with their own words) which lead to deception and the revising and changing of God's Word. This happened during the 2nd.Century when the manuscripts were corrupted, and happened again in 18th.Century. (1881 AD)This began a trend in the Church that will lead the Church into deception and "another Jesus."

Notes -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1.  "espoused
— (2 Sam 3:14), to betroth. The espousal was a ceremony of betrothing, a formal agreement between the parties then coming under obligation for the purpose of marriage. Espousals are in the East frequently contracted years before the marriage is celebrated. It is referred to as figuratively illustrating the relations between God and his people (Jer 2:2; Matt 1:18; 2 Cor 11:2). (See BETROTH.) (from Easton's Bible Dictionary, PC Study Bible formatted electronic database Copyright © 2003, 2006 Biblesoft, Inc. All rights reserved.)

2. Betroth
— to promise "by one's truth." Men and women were betrothed when they were engaged to be married. This usually took place a year or more before marriage. From the time of betrothal the woman was regarded as the lawful wife of the man to whom she was betrothed (Deut 28:30; Judg 14:2,8; Matt 1:18-21). The term is figuratively employed of the spiritual connection between God and his people (Hos 2:19,20).
