Does your vision see the Bride as the Temple!
If you don't see the Bride is the Temple of God,
then your end time doctrine will center around a
rebuilt Temple in the earthly Jerusalem, that "now is."
(Gal.4:21-33) This understanding will cause you to
give all the truths of restoration to the "children of the
flesh of Abraham" (the Jews today Rom.9:1-6) and
not to the "children of the promise" (The Church
Rom.9:8, Gal.3:1-29; 4:28) The end result will be
to expect the Pre-Tribulation Rapture out of this
world because (according to this teaching) there is
nothing else left for the Church.
This is completely opposite to what the Spirit is
saying to the Church today!
(Review: "Conclusion." Pages 1-6)
The question is, "Is your vision an "oracle"
(utterance) from God's Word? (1Peter.4:11) or is it
something you have heard on Radio,TV, DVD,
this Website or read in a book somewhere? How
are your spiritual eyes? (your vision) Are they "dim" (weak of light - Psa.119:113) growing
dull / blind - Heb.5:11-14, 2Peter.1:4-9) as Isaac's was, or are you awake and sober, watching
and praying? (Eph.1:18, Matt.24:42-42; 26:40, Acts.20:31, 1Cor.16:13, Col.4:2, 1Thes.5:6,
2Thes.4:5) This set a course that resulted in Isaac being deceived! If his sight was good
he would have never been deceived. (Gen.27:1-27) If our spiritual "eyes" (i.e. our understanding
of God's Word) grows weak and "dull" we will be deceived as Isaac was.
(Spiritually, this is a blemish that will prevent you from going on the "things of God."- 1Cor.2:1-14)
1. When was the Temple was first mentioned
When the "church in the wilderness" (Israel) was about to come into the Land, God said
that there will be "a place which the Lord your God shall choose out of all your tribes to
put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:
And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and
heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings..." (Deut 12:5-6)

a. It began with Abraham
(1) God called out Abram (later called Abraham Gen.17:4) and promised him a land.
(Gen.12:1-4)
(2) Before this happened, Abraham's seed would go into bondage and "be a stranger
in a land (Egypt) that is not theirs" (Gen.15:13-15; 37-45) They would serve them,
(the Egyptians - Exod.1:1-14) for "four hundred years." After these four hundred years
God said, "that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they (Israel)
would "come out with great substance." (Gen 15:13-15)
(3) After four hundred years, they were delivered from Egypt (Exod.12:1-39) and God lead
them to Mt. Sinai. (Exod.13:17-22; 19:1-3, 16)
(4) At Sinai God gave Moses the first pattern for His House / habitation (The Tabernacle of
Moses - Exod.25-40) Later this would be included in the Temple pattern. (2Chron.5:2-5)
(5) After Sinai, "the church in the wilderness" (Acts.7:38) journeyed on to the land promised
to Abraham. (Num.10:1-36)
(6) As they were about to enter the land, God reviewed His laws (The Book of Deuteronomy)
with that generation and told them that there is still "a place...even unto his habitation"
in the land (Deut.12:1-12) where God's name will be recorded.(Exod.20:24)
(7) When they came into the Land God gave David the pattern for "the place" while he
was experiencing the Tabernacle of David.(1Chron.11-16) God said, I have "ordain a
place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and
shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more,
as at the beginning." (1Chron.17:1-15; 22:1-19; 28:11-19)
Note: Between the Tabernacle of Moses and Solomon's Temple, there was the
Tabernacle of David.
b. The journey would end with Solomon's Temple
The "place" for God's name to be recorded. There was nothing greater than Solomon's
Temple until Jesus came, who was "The Temple!"
(1) This is Stephen's sermon before he was stoned. (Acts.7:1-48)
He preached this journey and then said, that Jesus will "destroy" the Temple. (Acts.6:14,
Matt.23:36-39; 24:1-4, 15-21)
(a) A greater than Solomon is here. (i.e. Jesus!)
(b) God does not live in Temples made with hands anymore! (Acts.7:47-48) Jesus said,
I am the Temple now, (John.2:18-20) I am the (beginning and the) end of the journey.
(Col.1:16-18, Rev.1:9-11)
That is why we are coming the fullness of the stature of Christ (a completed Temple)
because this is the end of the Churches journey. (Review: "Conclusion," Pages 1-6)
(2) Moses Tabernacle and David's Tabernacle were incorporated into Solomon's Temple.
(2Chron.5:5)
(3) They would move no more! (1Chron.17:1-9)
Note: After Solomon the Temple was destroyed and repaired many times until 70 AD
when it was erased. Jesus said that their House (Temple, Sanctuary) would be left "desolate"
(Matt 23:38) and would be destroyed."Not one stone left upon another." (Matt.24:1-2)

3. After the Cross God does not and will not dwell in earthly Temple anymore
"Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, Heaven
is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the
place of my rest? Hath not my hand made all these things?" (Acts 7:48-50;17:24)
a. We are the Temple
(1) Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it
up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, (Dan.9:25) and
wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spake of the temple of his body."
(John 2:19-22)
(2) "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which
ye have of God, and ye are not your own? (1Cor.6:19-20)
(3) "The house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth."
(1Tim.3:15)
b. We are being built a Temple
(1) You (The Church) are "lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to
offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ." (1Peter.2:5)
(2) The Church is "built upon the foundation (1Cor.3:10-11, Matt.16:16-18) of the apostles
and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building
fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are
builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit." (Eph.2:20-22)
c. We are the Temple the "habitation" / sanctuary that houses God's name
The Biblical pattern calls for "a place which the Lord your God...to put his name there,
even unto his habitation (Deut 12:5-6)
(1) God's name is recorded upon us in our Water Baptism. (Matt.28:19)
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, (The
Lord - Isa.42:6) and of the Son, (Jesus - Matt.1:21) and of the Holy Ghost." (Christ -
Col.1:27 / Eph.1:1:20, John.16:12-15) (Matt 28:19) The "family" name. The Lord Jesus
Christ. (Eph.3:14-15)
(2) The 1st.Century Church did this
(a) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name
of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins." (Acts.2:38)
(b) "For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name
of the Lord Jesus." (Acts.8:16-17)
(c) Peter said, "Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have
received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in
the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days." (Acts 10:47-48)
(d) When "they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.'
(Acts 19:5-6)
Note: The man of sin comes against all the is called God. That is why the man of sin
has a counterfeit "number of his name." 666. Why would he come against a earthly
Temple (2Thes.2:4) that is not "called God?"
4. The Temple of God, is the Bride of Christ
John was shown the Bride. "And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had
the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will
shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great
and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of
heaven from God." (Rev.21:9-10) Note: The Temple was the center of all activities of the City
of Jerusalem. (Deut.12:1-12) It was "the place" where God recorded His name there.
(1Chron.17:1-15; 22:1-19; 28:11-19, 2Chron.2:1)
a. The writer of Hebrews says, " But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living
God, the heavenly Jerusalem... To the general assembly and church." (Heb 12:22-23,
Rev.3:12)
b. "Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. For it is written, Rejoice, thou
barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath
many more children than she which hath an husband. Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are
the children of promise." (Gal.4:26-29, Rom.9:8)
5. Therefore the Temple of God that the antichrist will sit in is the Church!
This "mystery" is already working! (2Thes.2:7, 1John.2:15-18; 4:1-4) "Let no man deceive you
by any means: for that day (Second Coming 2Thes.2:1-2) shall not come, except there come a
falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and
exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth
in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."(2Thes.2:3-5)
a. How can this be?
(1) Jesus said, the "Let both (the Wheat and the tares) grow together, until the harvest."
(Matt.13:24-30, 36-43)
(a) The wheat / good seed - the children of the kingdom, those born of the Spirit of
God, Saved, Christians) v.38
(b) The and Tares are the children of the wicked one. (Not saved) v.38
(2) Judas fell from the inside out. (Matt.10:1-4, Acts.1:16-18)
(3) Lucifer fell from the inside out. (Isa.14:11-14, Ezek.28:14)
(4) The antichrist's went out from us. (Church) 1John.2:16-18
(5) God allowed the false prophet to come among them to prove them. (Deut.13:1-3)
(6) Paul said there were false ministers of righteousness, false apostles, another Jesus,
Gospel and Spirit in the Church. (2Cor.11:1-15)
Note: This why Paul warned the Thessalonian Church. "let us not sleep, as do others;
but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken
are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of
faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation." (1Thes.5:6-8)

b. There will be "two women...grinding at the mill."
Two "women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch
therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come." (Matt.24:41-42)
(1) Woman speaks of a Church true or false.
(a) In the Old Covenant God was a husband (man) to Israel. (Woman) (Isa.54:5,
Jer.3:20; 31:32)
(b) In the New Testament, Christ is the Bridegroom (Matt.9:15) and the Chuch is the
Bride (Woman) (Eph.5:21-33, 2Cor.11:1-3)
(2) The two Women are "grinding" side by side.
The householder (Jesus) "said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said
unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye
gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until
the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together
first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn."
(Matt.13:28-30)
(3) To Grind
To reduce to powder or small fragments by friction (as in a mill or with the teeth) To
wear down, to weaken or destroy gradually (like that of Delilah with Samson, "daily."
It vexed Samson. To rub or press harshly ground the cigarette out. To become
pulverized by friction. (Encyclopedia Britannica)
(4) This mystery is already working.
Paul writes in the 1st.Century, "the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who
now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way." (2 Thes.2:7-8. 1John.4:1-4)
c. The two women (Two Temples, two buildings)
(1) The true Bride (The Bride of Christ)
(2) The false Bride (The Bride of the antichrist
Food for thought: The true Bride and the false Bride both look the same like the
wise and foolish man's houses. (Matt.7:24-27) The wise man (Abraham / Noah / Gold,
Silver and Precious Stones 1Cor.3:10-15) built his house on the rock. The foolish man
(Lot / Wood, Hay and Stubble 1Cor.3:10-15 ) The storm / fire came on both houses
which revealed what they were made of. More notes coming on this thought
d. The "falling away" is the separation between these two woman
It will be the truths of separation, holiness, self denial, total committment to the purpose of
God. (Review: The day of Atonement and Conclusion, pages.1-5)
(1) The Laodicean Church (Rev.3:14-22) is a prophetic picture of those in the last day
Church that have been decieved and given place to the deception of the false Bride.
(2) Jesus wanted them to "repent." He gave them the solution to their deception
(Rev.3:17-18) However there was a cut off point just as there is for the tares
amongst the wheat. (Matt.13:24-30, 36-43)
(3) To those in the Church that reject the "counsel" (Rev.3:18) of the Lord Jesus Christ will
be "spued" (vomited) out of His mouth. This will be the "falling away," the defection from
the truth, apostasy.
Conclusion to which Temple?
If your end time vision see's the antichrist sitting in a rebuilt earthly Temple in the earthly City of Jerusalem, then you not be looking for deception in the Church, or a false Bride in our worship. music, structure, doctrine. You will be expecting the Pre-Tribulation Rapture at any moment, which is a false hope.

Notes----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Oracle— In the Old Testament used in every case, except 2 Sam 16:23, to denote the most holy place in the temple (1 Kings 6:5,19-23; 8:6). In 2 Sam 16:23 it means the Word of God. A man inquired "at the oracle of God" by means of the Urim and Thummim in the breastplate on the high priest's ephod. In the New Testament it is used only in the plural, and always denotes the Word of God (Rom 3:2; Heb 5:12, etc.). The Scriptures are called "living oracles" (comp. Heb 4:12) because of their quickening power (Acts 7:38).

2. "Falling away" / Strong's NT:646 - defection from truth (properly, the state) ["apostasy"]: KJV - falling away, forsake.
